I must object to the portal world. It's far too small. PVP portal should have been deep within Oren and RP portal should have been over in Malinor.

Of course, we had to get our priorities straight and after listening to community feedback we felt that this was far more important and would help with deeper issues with the server and how RPers and PvPers interact! Once we get nations sorted later on this week will we will be turning our sites on making the PvP server into a warclaimer's dreamworld!

The intent is to provide a sense of pride and accomplishment for unlocking different war rules.

I dearly hope this is just aprils fools joke xD Cutting the playerbase to half and oh god... It's gonna be so annoying to handle giantic fights with rp only on the rp server... Can only see the chatspams etc on those.. It's not gonna go too well...

No, looking into community feedback and also during the community review of war rules, we realized early on that this project we were working on had to come before war rules. It would have been impossible to make RPers and PvPers happy with our ruleset. So we decided hey! let's just divide the server into two sections so that way we do not displease the RPers, but can also tend to our very strong and loyal PvP sector. I understand the timing and the day, poor planning on our part I suppose, but why would we put in so much effort for a silly prank?

The ironic thing is if LoTC wasn't a pixel-grab there wouldn't be this big divide in the community and such toxicity. If this wasn't a joke you could actually implement a split server with actual effort and maybe make something that would be more friendly and enjoyable.

I’m quiet new and just settling in but I don’t see the point of doing this. Halving your community is never a good idea. How will large battles work on the RP server now, it will be a nightmare with all this chatting and such. I don’t see why this is needed
