In Truth, a Letter to All Druids

"Toren deserved to die, Arik is a crusty old biscuit, Renn is a tyrant, the Shadow Circle is trash, and Nemiisae is a valid aspect worthy of worship." Says a cactus man to himself as he reads the parchment, "But more than anything, organized druidism is a disease."

A Scarecrow sits in the corner of the eye from a random Druid and noms on Popcorn while he reads the letter from afar.

The Willow Druid stares at the scroll for a long time. Venom building in his gaze. Snatching the parchment, he'd appear on the verge of shredding it...yet, after many a moment's silence, he would slowly set the scroll back down, then...
"WhyhownobutIdon'teventhistimeIcan'tbelievemaytheAspectsshowmethewayIjust- BAH!"
Erupts a very very very loud Druid.

The Druid then goes to lay down before he ends up hurting himself.

Having been coaxed into writing his own letter, due to the ten straight hours of Guyden's yelling, as well as the pretty writings of all the other Druid folk who felt important enough to do so, a rather corrupt Archdruid would pen his own response.

Brother Song,

Years ago we met, though it was brief. I am Skale Avern, also known as Sae'kel Silma, or to the Druidic Order; Brother Hummingbird. Since last we met, I have taken the mantle of Archdruid and aim to change the way the Mother Circle views various topics. I offer to you an invitation. I would like to meet one on one, somewhere comfortable and where you would feel safe. If the Mother Grove is not that to you, perhaps the Naelurir can host our meeting. And if they do not or it does not entice you, I hear the Cloud Temple is still neutral ground. If we can meet there, I'm sure we both will leave unharmed and such. I can pen my feelings to you in regards to your absence, but it is pointless. Many come and go over the centuries. A year to a human is but a blink of an eye to our kind. As such, to be gone for centuries is nothing to our kin. I do not hold it against you. You feel as if you've wronged this order and the Druids as a whole by stepping away. Fine. Return to us, work with us. You do not have to fear unattunement or danger, as I hope to prove to you if we can meet and discuss our ideologies and beliefs. Sadly, there is much going on within the world that threatens not only the sanctity of our faith, our lives, or our homes; but also the Order's future.

It is safe to say I believe tradition is the corpse of a dying beast. To live within it alone will certainly lead to your own doom. To live without it entirely will close our eyes to the dangers presented to us in a world full of dancing shadows and bloodthirsty beasts. I would like to confer with you on traditions long forgotten, so the Druidic Order under my lead can work towards bringing a blend of tradition and modernization into the way things are done. If this interests you, please write back. You will find dozens who wish to tell you how they feel and believe. However, before I do such a thing, I would like to know what you believe.

Be well brother, may the Aspects guide your path.

Sincerely,

Brother Hummingbird, Sae'kel Silma, Skale Avern

A Dominion officer scans his gaze over the parchment, cocking a brow "Hm, curious. Maybe that dog with the Virarim was Toren, huh." The 'Ker would chuckle, parting the letter into a store of missives,  letters, documents, and others. "Victivus, hm... in the wise words of poor, late Toren, the only way to defeat him is defender's default pvp." The Mali murmured to himself. Remembing the night of Quillian's murder and the attempted framing on the Mother Circle. "A poor attempt at that it was."

Carsandra had not known anything of what Druid Song had given, she blinks, before chuckling.

"Well I knew one of the points, I found the shrine. But the other two? Soultree's? Shapeshifting? Corruption within? What's new? There's always corruption within an group, to tell otherwise is folly."

Dedicant Serphin read's the missive, her eyes widen, in confusion. She had not known any of these things. She looks very upset, the whole foundation of what she learned shaken.

Eithne would read the letter and frown. "...only more trouble is to come. This is why I'm glad I'm circle-less - so I can focus on  keeping balance and helping many than petty drama and spreading secrets around, playing the blame game all the time." The one armed girl would go to join Hareven within his grove.

Elvira sighs and she begins counting on her fingers. "Knew about Soultrees, given that I spent a majority of the last few years in Vailor trying to heal them from Orgon's Plague, as well as fighting one for fun, and having a good amount of them telling me what they are in depth so that both Ascended and Clerics know they can't heal them. The third Aspect? I've heard mentions, quite surprised the druids refuse to acknowledge her when she is a literal Aspect. As for Shapeshifting? Never saw it but had a feeling it was out there. I mean we got Ferals, what's stopping a druid from turning into their totem? Not really a secret if druids are revealing them left, right, and centre about these things... which honestly, they're doing a bad job of keeping secrets."

A little pupil sorts through stacks of papers and books, gripping at her chin briefly before knitting her small forehead with concern. "This is not good; They are forcing their shitty influence unto eachother while their entire meaning isn't even there; to peserve balance. They've the balance of nature settled, but naught the balance of their own Orders." Cried the child in disbelief, staring up to her mentor.

Aran Talraen, famous Administrator and knightslayer, yawns upon hearing of more high school-tier druid drama. "More groups that could be wiped out entirely by three Renatian footmen and a halfling thinking their petty squabbles are relevant in grand politics. Sad."

Renna Talraen, Morghuul and Axios' most terrible serial killer, screeches for presumably the same reason.

She shook her head wildly. "They persist with this useless feud while the other Druids sit with sloth and moan over drama not worth of a second glance in the Mother Grove. Then Naeulrir stay apart from them just because the only drama they've got is ' we aren't the homosexual mother grove, don't affiliate them with us ' When they should be trying to aid their brethren from being so brain-dead."

"Toren should not have died. All this hatred, corruption and self-entitled gratitude amongst the key members of the order need to stop. I do not say this as a druid, for I am not, and never will be, part of that heretical order. I say this as a Canonist woman, asking, begging, for peace. For too long have I seen strife, hatred and scorn from the likes of Renatus, Norland, and other such governing bodies, while bandits roam free on the roads, ignored by the governments who should have pledged to end their ways long ago. And hearing more and more about this in the likes of the Druidic Order, and even more bodies... it is sickening! In the name of GOD, just stop, before it is too late! Listen to yourselves, throwing knives at people and blaming each other for your own wrongdoings! You're like children with too much power! Realize that one must be humble in order to truly understand the responsibility of holding the powers over our world that you hold, and one must be pious and vigilant to put an end to corruption before it takes root and undermines all you wish to accomplish! Something you have failed to do, and the results are blatantly in front of you, yet most of you choose to look the other way and act like it's your imagination! My good friend, Quillian, left without her husband! Druids at each other's throats, abusing their powers and trying to put an end to each other! For GOD's sake, cast away the chains of your own misgivings towards one another and rebuild that connection!" Auralia pleads.
