ON RENATIAN AGGRESSIONS

It is due time to update the Kingdom on the recent incursions with respect to Haense and the Renatian state as well as the steps we seek to address the reckless and despicable actions of the latter.

Over the last few months, my Chancellery: the Ambassador and secretaries, set out the details of events as they unfold.

I am sure the whole kingdom will want to once again pay tribute to the bravery and integrity of our allies in the U.S.A. and the Royal Armed forces in responding to the blatant acts propagated by the Renatian State.

I share the impatience of this kingdom and the Atlas community at large to bring decisive action and address the barbarisms that have been incurred and to take the full range of appropriate responses against those who would act against our subjects in this way.

But as a nation that believes in justice and the rule of law, it is essential that we proceed in the right way: We are led not by speculation but by the evidence. 

Earlier this week, I chaired a meeting of the Aulic Council, in which we considered the information so far available. Accordingly, the Council was updated on the assessment and gravity, as well as the state of our predicament in lieu of a futile attempt to sway the Principality of Curon from our pact.

This action has happened upon a litany of a self-evident pattern of Renatian state aggression:

We are reminded that the genesis of this so-called “kingdom” was due in part by the kinslaying and barbaric onslaught of toppling the Holy Orenian Empire, seizing for themselves a title at the cost of the blood of others. Woe to them for cruelly beheading a child of just thirteen years, parading this feat as a justification of their uncivil pursuits. They accuse our denizens of exuding infidelity to the Scrolls and tout the honorific of Fidei Defensor, but what graver sin is to be had than that of kinslaying?

We are reminded that the Renatian state employs the use of non-human, non-Canonist allies because of their ambitions for a newly formed Orenian Empire. What hypocrisy is to be shown with such craven gestures that our ever venerable and pious “Defender of the Faith” would require such intercession? Surely GOD is on his side, what should he have to fear? He would rather consort with heathens to further his political game and continue the division path in our current predicament.

In our current situation, this insurrection is surely a war of survival. The Alliance penned with the High Elves and Norlanders is necessary for our chances of surviving these barbaric cretins.
As a result of their infidelity to their Church’s call, it is prudent we expose their hypocrisy and deem them unfit to be “Defenders of the Faith” due to the very capacity they seek to wage war. The Kingdom of Renatus declared the following proclamation:

“To the denizens of Renatus-Marna, we do hereby answer our Church’s call, and condemn the heathens that plague our bloody lands, for no heathen is safe from the prying eyes of our Maker, and we, as soldiers of GOD, will slay those who tarnish our saviour’s name. I remind you all, the faithful servants of GOD, that the preaching of GOD is the whip that flogs the heathens, and the preaching of GOD is the thunderbolt that makes the bloody Nether quake beneath our wroth.”

Yet, by this very treaty just now made known to Atlas, they have spat on their religious obligations. I compel that all who have eyes ought to see the blatant hypocrisy in the values of the Renatian state and the malicious intents in their quest for unjust dominion.

We are reminded that the Renatian state has been an active agent of terrorism, sponsoring behavior akin to vile criminals in the beheading of civilians, among those nobility and children of sovereign states in foreign capitals.

We are reminded that the Renatian state has actively sought to seek the harm of our officials, most notably in the kidnapping of Her Majesty, Queen-Consort Ingrid and His Grace, Duke Rickard of the House Kovachev.

We are reminded that the Renatian state has acted on their own impulse in infringing the sovereignty of the Kingdom of Santegia-Haria, in the kidnapping and assaulting of His Majesty King Leoiarizaltzu Salbatzaile of the House de Savin under the pretense of the violation of international law in relation to the Global Assembly and seeking a trial under baseless charges.

We are reminded of their persistent attempts to disrupt the stability and safety of the denizens of other sovereign nations through the constant horde of their barbarous raids.

We are reminded that through futile gestures of disingenuous promises of peace, the Renatian state had actively sought for the dissolution of the Czena Confederation by enticing our former ally, the Principality of Curon, and thereby undermining the security and safety enjoyed by so many people, forcing our Kingdom to seek aid from the Kingdom of Norland and Silver State of Haelun’or in order to survive.

Furthermore our commitment to collective defense and security through the United Southern Alliance remains as firm as ever in the face of Renatian behavior.

This pattern of objective malice and unequivocally defined aggression is not just a crime against the Kingdom of Hanseti-Ruska. No, it is much more than that. It is an anthology of indiscriminate and reckless acts against the entirety of peace and human stability, recklessly putting the lives of innocent civilians to their blade.

My message is clear and simple: The axis of evil will stand no longer.

Arthur Othaman does recall Renatians actively using the same company of mercenaries to do their dirty work and make up for their periodically small rally before forming the N.A.A.

Fat Battlemonk Hans does recall receiving blessings and greetings upon passing those mercenaries when employed by the NAA, rather than be instantly killed and robbed when employed by the USA.
