Red Cloaks on the Rise

A Red Cloak member, depicted in a Fool's costume, holds a sword, ready to slay a pleading Wood Elf.

Be warned! The road betwixt Halen'oor and leading into Holm, and Rentus-Marna is being guarded by the Red Cloaks. This organization nine months ago tried and failed to attack The Dominion during a wedding, however they were repelled by the forces of the Virriam. Salty from their loss, they have taken to patrolling the Whispering Crossroads, slaying any Elf that dares trespass along the road. Those that are Elven Kin, do not travel to Halen'oor, Rentus-Marna, Holm, or Stangia for the time being. As of right now, the body count is seven, for those slain, and the number will climb higher over the coming year.

For those that are unfamiliar with the outfit/group:

-Commonly wear red armor or 'cloaks'. These have a hood on them and a shawl to hide their ugly faces.

-They commonly do not wear the Cannonist cross on their outfit, though they have claimed many times they work in the 'best interest' for the Church.

-They do recruit Elves, however they have to prove themselves loyal by killing an Elf, and clipping their ears.

-They even kill Cannonist Elves, who worship GOD. They have entered the town of Beltiviz many times to drag an Elf out and burn them. They do not care if your Cannonist or not.

-Often travel in groups of 10+ in order to quickly surround and capture Elves. Escape is impossible, and fleeing is the only choice. (PVP default)

"They're pretty shot lemme tell you." Comments the Praetor as he reads the missive. "They're nothing but a bunch of Valah playing dressup in red. They can't even swing a sword properly. Any attack they've perpetrated has been over in under an Elven minute. It's quite pitiful."

Koralon's elf ears twitched as she read the notice. She was conflicted. Her dislike towards elves clashed with the fact these red-cloaked men may target dark dwarves.

Karren would receive the bird from Carsandra in reply to his question of wishing to chat with her, but to only find her reply to talk about a group of people who call themselves the "Red Cloak"

"They hide at the crossroads? I hope they do not try and stop me because if they try to stop me, I'll take them out with my sillumir training." He'd sigh.

"Literally not a single wood elf has ever been killed by them, they even lose to the children. Pathetic." idly comments an elf.

*Arwenia would laugh as she reads the notice, the lady Imperator unable to keep the laughter at bay, turning to Aewion, she'd say between her laughter* "they have been beaten each time, even when they tried to stop our marriage, do they intend to just be practice dummies for us"

Braum a bishop of Santegia would speak to those who looked at the poster
"The Holy Crimson Inquisition and Red Cloaks are different things!
The Red cloaks wear a grey helmet with a neon red outfit, they slay without thinking and are truly brutal.
The Holy Crimson Inquisition wear a crimson tabard with a soot colored armor with golden highlights.
The Holy Crimson Inquisition houses faithful elves elves, does not clip ears but instead suggests it, but did burn people by Belvitz for murder, grave robbery, dark arts, and thievery of high caliber. I do not blame you for your ignorance, just know the Holy Crimson Inquisition aren't mindless killers like the red cloaks, we're no enemy to the faithful elves. We have no general problem with elves or any of GODs creations aslong as they are faithful. Do not mix us up with the Red Cloaks! We have saved Belvitz from rat men and even ghouls sometimes with the help of elves passing by! We even intend to hold charity at Belvitz!"

Father Marcus cackles. "Pretender canonists are not true canonists. Canonist for a day are not true canonists. Such was the case with these 'canonist elves'. They are only canonist when it suits them! Deus Vult! Deus Magnus!" exclaims Marcus as he prepares the pyres. He would briefly turn to Braum with a hateful glare. "Canonists do not ally themselves with heathens against devout GOD fearing men."

A red-cloak soldier nods his head as he heard the news, a smile plastered upon his visage as he remembered the day he had burned an elf fornicator at the stake. "Soon, brothers. Soon, we shall march on the Dominion city. The elves have gone on for far too long, brothers. They are unable to even have a war by themselves, they are weak, they need the aid of an outside source, MERCENARIES, to be exact, GUNS FOR HIRE, brothers. Soon, the Dominion shall fall."
