Urguan Has Fallen.

Fimlin

*Fimlin clears his throat and begins to deliver his speech atop a rock in the lands between Holm and Kaz’Ulrah, with any dwarf being able to hear it, besides that an independent article is distributed amongst the dwarven settlements with a copy of the speech.*

Urguan Has Fallen.

“Hear ye o’ dwedmar for Urguan has fallen, the shield is broken! The hammer shattered! Despair all ye dwed for ye are forsaken!”

Disgraces to dwedkind the lot of you! The Brathmordakin ‘ave abandoned us. The Paragons are disgusted of us. You cannot see what you ‘ave become.

This is not the dwedmar. Not that ah’ve known, nae that anyone has known.

The dwedmar ‘ave always stood together in defiance against all those who would defy our right to exist upon this world. Now ye swing fer eachothers throats should yer disagree!

Dwedmar dunnae agree on much, but before we did agree that all dwarves are dwarves, an’ that we should all ‘ave our brothers’ backs. Weh stick to our own, an make those who wrong our people pay fer it.

The Dwarven Spirit that shook the foundations of our worlds is gone, lost in the abyss that divides kin from kin.

-=-

TO THE LEADERS OF THE DWEDMAR STATES; You divide our kin, ye spread hatred among our people for yer own selfish sakes! Ye are unwilling to build bonds an’ quick to cast yer kin away given aneh hint of dissent.

TO THOSE OF AZ’ADAR AND ORD, who claim other dwedmar “false dwed” for what they choose, yer disgrace what Urguan means in teh first place. Nae Dwed ‘as the roight to claim falsehood of another dwed, an’ nae dwed has the roight to claim surperioriteh.

Yer utter focus on the conflict wit’ Kaz’Ulrah, an’ yer pettiness disgraces you, an’ all the reasons you ‘ave to claim yerselves above Ulrah.

If you believe this is wot the Grand Kingdom is then it clearleh deserved to die.

TO THOSE OF KAZ’ULRAH who curse Urguan ye curse yerselves! Yer fools! Urguan is the father of all dwedmar, from the Frostbeards to the Starbreakers! If you separate from Urguan yer separate from the dwedmar people!

You ‘ave become ah state of orcish vagabonds intent on attacking unprovoked, an’ committing murder wit’out discomfort.

Ye rebelled to stop a regime from holding too much power, but Kaz’Ulrah itself is overlord’d by its own regime and claims itself to be different and improved from past dwarven states.

Kaz’Ulrah has proven nothing other than it being a hateful plague upon the dwedmar people.

-=-

URGUAN STANDS FER THE ONENESS OF ALL DWEDMAR DESPITE ALL.

AN’ WITHOUT THAT.

URGUAN IS DEAD.

"T'ings can be risen, and t'ings can be repaired... Urguan isn't dead." Agnar Ireheart, Marshal of Ord.

"We certainly have become a warlike nation, though we're not even close to a plague upon the dwarven people. In Kaz'Ulrah, many clans of old has resurfaced. Dark dwarves, whom were banned from being king under Urguanite laws, have flourished under Kaz'Ulrah despite not being part of the rebellion.

New clans has come to light, free from the crushing chafe of the ol' Urguan that stopped new clans from forming and taking hold, like the great Silvervein clan.

I agree we should think on changing our ways, but calling Kaz'Ulrah "A plague upon the dwarven people" Is simply, factually, wrong."

"We dunnae curse teh name uv teh Dwed Urguan - weh curse teh name uv teh Small Kingdom uv Urguan which was destroyed by various dwedmar with large egos but clean hands. Clean because they never toiled in teh moines or did aneh work - they expected teh others to maintain their Kingdom which they felt it was their birthright to rule.

Kaz'Ulrah is built upon allowing those who are ambitious to thrive, nae to drown in teh hateful speech of Dwedmar who view their success as a threat to their existence. Dwedmar who wish a united Dwed are free to join Kaz'Ulrah so far as they dunnae attempt to undermine it's people and ways.

To call us a plague upon teh Dwedmar is a statement which perhaps shows yer bias. We stand for progress, as weh always have. Weh strive to unite all Dwedmar that wish to work and progress. Those who dunnae - dunnae interest us.

We did nae rebel because a regime held too much power. We rebelled because they held power and did nothing with it."

Officer Grudgebeard calls over to Fimlin giving his stump speech,

"Fimlin, we do not curse Urguan himself, merely those who cling to the glory of the old Grand Kingdom; cursing Urguan was a matter of convenience, as it summed up their group succinctly. We have recently realized the gravity of our past words, and now strive to replace curses against Urguan with curses against Arcadia.

As for the Uruks, you may think their proximity has affected a shift in our attitude toward raiding and banditry, but the most egregious cases of both are limited to a handful of individuals, quite small relative to the bulk of our people, who are peaceful.

Koralon Onyxheart was the last Grand Queen of old Urguan, yet when she made clear her drive and initiative toward building up Kaz'Ulrah, we did not turn her away; nor have we pushed away bold Dwarger Silvervein, who has made a clear effort of driving his clan's numbers more quickly than his peers, something that would have doubtless been frowned upon in the old Grand Kingdom.

You should visit us more often, Fimlin, to see the real Kingdom, rather than what you hear from those who seek to cast us in a false light."

Hekkaes Anvilaxe would stop a bit, looking confused at Fimlin "Lad, Oi nae t'ink Oi du 'ave a word fo' ye tu count since Oi nae 'ave been with ot'a dweds en duh toime of Urguan, but callen' duh kingdum of Kaz'Ulra' a plague of dwedmar 're sum big accusations lad. Ulhart Grandaxe stops to listen to his brother atop the rock. As Fimlin finished his speech Ulhart picked his head up and began to speak to anyone nearby who would listen.
"Teh death o' teh Grand Kingdom should beh ah lesson movin' forward. Teh bring dwedkoind back tehgetheh weh must reflect upon what exactleh weh did teh destroy ahreselves. Splittin' teh kingdom apart was nae teh roight action teh take but et 'appened n' now is teh toime teh make ammends. Interactions behtween Kaz'Ulrah n' Az'Adar 'ave illuminated maneh of teh issues n' now weh can go forward wit ahre newfound wisdom teh ensure ah betteh tomorrow."
Ulhart takes a deep breath and lets out one last thought before turnig down the road to Holm.
"Ah miss teh Fimlin who called meh back teh moi kin n' made teh Grandaxes what t'ey were, ah assure yeh dat teh sun will shoine on us again brotheh."

Koralon moved up to the stump after Fimlin finished his speech, offerig him a hand to step down.

"You were not the only one highlighting the curse on Urguan. For the while the corrupt Grand Kingdom existed, the Kaz'Ulrah salute offered hope to many, I understand. But that is no longer the case, or a necessity."

She shifted in her stand, gesturing around the plains that laid between the Dwasrven factions.

"The Dwarves will not be re-united because those who seek power seek only reactionary goals, to return a misfunctioning status quo, to restore laws, rules and ideals of a Grand Kingdom that died not to the Frostbeards or its leadership, but to a war of two decades."

She sighed, then commented light.

"Last month, I called on my council for a vote. We agreed to curse Urguan no more, and cheer the death of Arcadia next to the freedom of the Dwedmar."

Kladian listens to Fimlin's message and starts claping when the dwed  finished talking.

"Now thes lads, thes es a true dwed. Thes lad es someone ah could call mah king and net feel ashamed ef bowin' to 'em. A' swear tu Yemmekar and tu all tha Brathmordakin where this dwed goes a' go. As Urguan es net dead aslon as its idials are en our hearts, and unlike certain 'kingdoms' that focus on tha physical interpretation ef urguan thes lad carries ets true form enside ef hem, like all dwed use to do before tha unstable years. Fimlin ye 'ave mi undying respect and loyalty."
