These are a thing. Gauntlets can be enchanted to fire an arcanic beam of energy to be fired at an opponent. They only work like once or twice before needing to be recharged, however. Sorry if someone already explained it. It's probably more complicated than what I just described, but that's the gist of it.

Players need to be less salty.

Staff and LT in particular need to take their iron grip of the playerbase and lore’s balls.

I actually agree, what made Aegis and Asulon fun for many is the lack of restrictions on building, PVP and RP. The issue now is that there are too many restrictions and a playerbase that if given even the slightest bit of freedom will immediately abuse it. I call this the floodgate effect though, when some stupid restriction is removed people will rampantly abuse the very thing the restriction was put in place for originally until it dies down..

The Floating Island still exists, but the floating rune circle and the empty wizard tower have been removed a long while ago. I had an eye on the island for a while now too, and especially for event purposes a floating island is really neat. This thread is why we can't have nice things...

I found this a long time ago. There's another floating island near it, and staff mostly refused to tell me any information regarding it. I had to find out myself that it was an old part of an event that Paleo had planned, but was scrapped when he stepped down as administrator. If you go to that area, to the right of it is another floating island, with a stream of water leading up to it and at least a dozen boats floating on the bottom of the sea underneath the stream of water. It's a clear sign that either the staff I informed of it haven't done anything about it, or it's there for real. If I go and look for it now, I'll probably at least still find the two floating islands. We at least need some sort of lore for them if they're going to be places. @Karimir
