Admin Promotions

Hello everyone,

 

The Administration has lost good hands over the summer mostly due to personal reasons or schedules. For this reason, Flamboyant and I recently interviewed and promoted two Administrators that we announce today. Before I continue, I would like to express my gratitude to my recently resigned friend; thank you Knox for your dedication.

 

This brings us to 3 Administrators, far preferable to only 1. I don’t believe this is enough yet, so you can expect additional promotions to follow suit sometime this month or the next. This is the first part of a series of updates. We will provide news regarding admin structure changes, our focus for the upcoming months, as well as a community meeting.

 

Please welcome Fireheart and SeventhCircle to the Administration. They have both done a bit of writing to give you an idea of their role and ambitions.

Hello! I’m Fireheart and I’ve been your friendly neighborhood GM Director for the past half a year or so. Some of you know who I am either through encounters in-game, on the forums, or even on Discord, but some of you don’t know who I am. I’ve been a community member and joined back in early 2012 where I got hooked on LoTC through a friend who invited me to apply and join him. I’ve played a lot of characters since 2012 and have tried a bunch of different things, but decided to join staff back in 2015-2016 to help give back to the server and make it a better place. I came back this year with a drive to improve the Game Moderation team and use skills I’ve developed and have been trained for in my own professional career to benefit the server. My role as I step into the position of an administrator will be to focus on moderation on LoTC. I am looking forward in continuing to make our procedures and policies more transparent and also make how we moderate the community more consistent across the board. I look forward for what’s to come and I am excited to be along for the ride with everyone in the community!

Hi folks it’s Seventh I’m here today representing another new flag, The administration! I’d hope by now most of you would have some idea of who I am, but I am a bit of a quieter member of our staff. I’ve been World Dev Director for the last year as well as working with Xarkly and past ET Directors as Et Build Manager. Those things aren’t going to change as I move forward. I am also a coder but that’s much more a hobby ACTIVITY (( ? soon tm )) My role as an admin will be heavily focused on Development both in the space of maps, terrain and all that awesome stuff and the mechanic stuff. My goal right now are 7.0 which you can expect a lot of information on october 12. I’ve switched up how we’re doing map releases abit so that’s why you haven’t heard anything yet. After 7.0 though I’m angling to work more on developing the identity of Lotc on the wd/code side of course. Because I think embracing and creating systems that better support what we do or create new experiences is vital for us and It’s something I enjoy heavily. I’m a creative guy and as an Admin I’m going to continue what I love doing just with a more broad pen. If you have questions or comments my door is always open.

Whatever outcome it was I'm certain that these decisions will be outstanding in the long run. Congrats folks.
