Hello Friends! It’s time again for another community meeting. If you have any questions that you would like answered please comment them down below. A representative from every staff team will be there to answer your questions respectively. We will not be accepting meme questions and they will be skipped over. Alright, what’s up.

1.) Are admins allowed to hold both a team director seat alongside their current administrator position?

 1.a) If so, why? Would this not be a form of conflict? 

2.) What items are blacklisted from /vault ?

 2.a) Are donators able to pay for extra vault slots?

3.) What is the general consensus for the Administration Team on how staff have been conducting themselves the past few months.

 3.a) There appears to have been some level of misconduct portrayed both on the game moderator’s side and administrator’s side within the span of this map. How do the teams plan to go forward with efforts to improve for 7.0?

Just a general suggestion- might be better to postpone community meetings (or any kind of staff meetings/large events for that matter) until after the Holidays so that more people can make it. ^^

As for questions..
1.) Will there be a new community manager?
2.) Are there currently any planned or ongoing projects targeted towards advertising the server outside of our own mediums?
3.) Has my buddy Telanir been getting his rest?
4.) This one is mainly towards Flam- what is the lore behind shelving lore on the server? In his opinion, how should a character physically react to suddenly losing their magic/returning back to into mortal etc?
5.) What is the difference between a lore librarian and a wiki team member?

Okay so:

 

For WD regarding next map:

 

-Tiles seem pretty small and limits the natural development of Nations, will nations be able to acquire tiles in the next map? If the answer is yes, how will that system work?

 

-Freebuild, charters or both? What will be the requirements for charters if they are implemented?

 

-Were the roads fixed after all the feedback given by the community?

 

-Will there be a temp map?

 

-Do you think the new map could last more than 18 months?

 

For LT:

 

-Lore subforum is a mess, you shelved magics or made changes on them through announcements but the posts weren't edited/moved to reflect this.

 

-Whats the ic explanation behind all the changes that have taken place? Like undeads getting back to life... did their souls leave the Soulstream and different realms or were they copied and now there exist 2 souls of each person that became a ghouls?

 

-Will the LT post lore of Perpetiael, Gavrael and Jophiael any time soon? I think they are an important part of the  history of the 4 brothers. Also why are they still kept into the golden relics, wouldn't that be against the mentality of many Aenguls?

 

-Will the LT ever explain why Gazardiel suddenly disappeared when he was so eager to fulfill his goal?

 

-What are your thoughts regarding people roleplaying that they go to Aeldin even when there is no way of doing so from Atlas?

 

-Will you limit the species of animals that will live in the next map? Its a bit weird to find animals that were specific of some continents in the others, i think each map should have its specific fauna and LT work to make it interesting. 

 

-I read that you plan to completely migrate all the lore to the Wiki, what's the reasoning behind this? In my opinion the layout and design of the wiki is not pleasant to see and totally outdated, do you plan to get it changed soon? 

 

For GM:

 

-What are your thoughts regarding GMs using their permissions to meme, fly or spy roleplay when they are not in duty? And what is done to avoid this? Do you check their logs regularly?

 

-Why are GMs able to remove their names from the list of players online? What if a player needs them urgently?

 

-Are GMs allowed to lead nations/big playerbases? Couldn't this lead to passive bias?

 

For Devs, Telanir and admins :

 

-What will happen to those that have items soulbound with soulbind tokens during the transition? Will they lose their purchase?

 

-What happens if someone with 1 use soulbound items are pugsied or die due to the fault of the staff, is the soulbind token given back to them?

 

-What have you planned for the vault system? Only signed items of any of them? Will GMs sign important items like last year?

1. Will orcs receive any form of compensation for what has been done to them, i.e. was screwed over by corrupt staff and a player.
2. Will Wolfkite and Veist receive any form of punishment, as Wolfkite was the one that lied to staff, and allowed this all to happen. A mere blacklist from staff isn’t enough, I would say. And Veist, he was the one that allowed this to happen as well, he was fully aware he was most likely going to lose (not to incite an argument here), but allowed DPM to alt for him. There’s clear evidence of it, the IPs were not matched, DPM has admitted to it, the list of evidence goes on and on. 
3. Why are staff, moreso on the GM side, allowed to handle modreqs, bans, punishments, etc, that involve their playerbase, or a close ally, of their playerbase? You could say GMs aren’t biased all you want, but everyone knows all staff, no matter who they are, have even a tiny bit of bias.

So, to beat this dead horse once again; Will we be getting a magic plugin? Will LOTC ever be getting a magic plugin, even an incredibly basic one? If no to either of those questions, why not? What are the obstacles preventing a magic plugin?

Actual questions to get a few leaks clarified: (dont skip they are serious)

 

Mining nodes like runescape. Tofuus said this will never happen and a different leak said it’s a high possibility. What’s going to happen to mining next map.

 

Is freebuild removed entirely or only in the corners of the map like Athera or whatever map had the badlands as well. 

 

When will a published map of what group gets what tile be announced.

 

During a discussion with 501, I brought up the GM Graveyard and Hall of Heroes (A donation reward). 501 said that they were holding off on building that this map or pasting them in because he wanted to put them in a furnished lobby server that never had to get updated. Is this idea still be worked on? If not, why not?

 

Why is the administration, aka fireheart, so against having a war team on the gm team? Quite a few gms haven't took part in warclaims for a long time but without a war team, they have free reign over controlling the future of wars which is why we get  screwed up rules.

 

Why are the admins the ones to have full control over issues like approving rewrites for villainy blacklists and raids when they have no experience in the recent days handling the situations? No offense to you but in recent days fireheart, telanir, tarren, flam, or you seventh, because you're the cool one,  haven't raided an area or defended an area on lotc. If you haven't used the system, or moderated it, how are you the ones that know how to fix it if you dont even moderate them anymore? 

 

When will the training wheels be taken off Corpean and Rift?

 

Many players use warhammers and battleaxes for their characters. Is it possible for the devs to add in a custom recipe for these and just make them like an iron sword. I do realize that it just opens the door for more people asking for more things, but I mean, not a lot of people use monk battlestaffs. I think a decent amount of people use warhammers and axes.

 

Which one of the devs coded the campfire kits and why did you stop making more. And what was the recipe to the campfire kits, message me on discord, i forgot how to make them.

 

And one non leak question. Can we ban at least all raids if not raids and roadside banditry on well known holidays and during times such as community meetings.

Will develop more questions in the future most likely due to being a new player, but here’s some that I’m sure have already been asked and would like answered:

 

1. Is there a definite time/date the new map is to be published?
2. Will players (new and old, nobility/royalty or not) be able to transfer items from Atlas that they’ve deemed useful in roleplay or for their character development?
3. Could there possibly be an animal breeding limit increment? Currently breeders are only able to breed 4 animals every 6-hour server restart period, and it’s tedious for those who make a living off this IRP.
4. Are personas/characters with little to no relevance to the overall ‘storyline’ of the server going to be purged? Or will they be carried over to the next map?

1.) Why are unlimited 2 man ‘attacks’ allowed, but the minute you have 3 it suddenly becomes a raid?

2.) Why are you able to infinitely heal horses that can run 3x the speed of players on foot, with 10+ health?

3.) How come you’re able to /status recording, and only follow one side around day in, day out, without being punished when you’re clearly ghosting?

4.) Why is there still no form of cheater prevention other than ‘Did u record it? If not can’t do anything sorry’?

Minae are never carried over, A full chests worth so 29, GM/lt/ET signed items can be brought.

No idea about 1 or three. 

 

As for 2. GM/ET/LT signed items can be brought over by anyone, up to 29

 

and for 4. No one is ever purged,every character is carried over, thats part of the history.
