King Peter III of Helena,

 

The Elven Tripartite writes to you one last time in response to your armistice. Countless times your consuls have harassed our kin into doing your bidding- into joining your wars, oppressing our kin, clipping their ears and forcing your religion onto us. We do not forget the times you have attempted to overthrow our governments. The Maehr went to the sons of Horen and taught them peace. Since such the sons of Horen have been unkind, seeking the enslavement of the Elves for centuries.

 

It is insulting how little you think of my people and that of my cousins. Not only do you not know the names of Irrinor or Renelia, but you also seem to think that what you can trick us with your ‘carefully worded’ treaty. You tried to fool us into signing an armistice that allows the Imperial snakes to retaliate after the war, but the only fool in Arcas is you King Peter for thinking we would stoop to the lowly levels of the human scum in Haense and Curon. 

 

You have started a war that you can no longer fight, but your actions have consequences, King Peter, be a man and face them. We do not turn on our allies, especially during a war that was started by dogs that sought to project their power onto their own allies. This is our third, and final response to you King Peter. We do not wish to support your endeavors any longer, and you have shown to be a most dishonest and sinister man. Sought purely after self-immolation. With every denial to your pacts, your ilk have threatened to burn down our cities and kill our children, we have no reason to believe it would be any different even if we did accept just as history has shown in the past.

 

Our loyalties never falter. We remain within the AIS.

“My resolve does not waver. We will not treat with the Valah,” Lyemar would speak softly, his words directed towards those who would be gathered in the Irrinite throne room.

 

“Countless times have I been given a dream of a ball where I dance with a lady of our peoples. Her face forever changing as the dream progresses and we glide across the smooth stones of the hall whose pillars depict the history of our peoples and supports a ceiling of life.” He would pause for a moment, seemingly recalling the details before going to describe them. “Though as of late her face becomes ever clearer and her soft whisper of a voice grows more familiar. Her words whispered between the notes of the music that fills the air urging for us to continue down this path that we have taken for it will lead us to a most blessed state. To put our trust in herself and the Father, for the Aspects would not lead their children astray.” 

 

“Worry not brothers and sisters, we are blessed.” Lyemar would finish, falling silent soon after.

”Perhaps you are forgetting some crucial details here, Valah. The Tripartite was formed after the conflict between Haelun’or and Irrinor was resolved through peace treaties. This was done after it was discovered the Orenians tried to place a puppet leader into power, to rule over the Elves. Renelia and Haelun’or once stood against Irrinor, that is true. Do not forget however that that conflict has long been forgotten, and that the Tripartite has suffered more at the hands of the Holy Orenian Empire than anyone else. Nobody is twisting and spinning facts but you. Renelia is one of the original signatories of the AIS, and have stood by Morsgrad’s side to help them fight the Orenian oppression.” Spoke a mildly annoyed Elf, as he was seated within New Magara'lin. 

 

He sighed deeply, wondering if the Orenian offer was an act of desperation, as they once again were driven into a corner. The drums of war would soon sound once again, to bring the Rubern War to a close. ”The Valah were foolish to believe we would accept this offer, for the third time now. They rely on near-empty Nations that are infamous for turncoating whenever they get the chance. Unlike them, we do not break our pacts, and we honour those who we consider allies. Let this be a lesson Peter, King of Helena. You do not rule over us, nor will you ever have the chance to. A losing war is what you are fighting, and soon the walls of Reza will crumble down, and you will see that you are but a worthless husk of a man, ready to be thrown to the wolves.
