“May we meet again in another life, Soldier.”

THE SLAUGHTERED SHEEP

Issued on the 23rd of The Deep Cold, 1775

How many more will perish in the name of Peter III, a needless cause? - Where men beckon forth onto their death, only to perish once more. The nobles, those of the rich, only growing fatter as they hide within their tall walls. The innocent and sheep meander forth, damaged and hurt yet again. What a farce, lunacy.

Peter III asks you to die for him, for Oren. He does not do the same for you, he is protected with his guards and riches while you only continue to befall for his name.

This morning, three Orenian soldiers arrived at the Hangmen Keep - None left; For all died by our hands. While your Emperor resides in his palace, more of your men continue to wander forth in blind stupor.

War is not merciless, nor is it honourable. It’s born of bloodshed and lies, a farce ridden into many. Where men wander forth onto their graves and innocents continue to perish for the name of those higher above.

The Hangman's Promise is to be completed, as is our CODE. To more that will follow, you are only continuing onto your deaths - Your cause is meaningless. Ours is followed, Our Duty. We shan’t waver nor falter, no more.

You are all encumbered by your own, it shackles you. Peter III beckons you like a Shepherd onto a Sheep, the wolves will only continue to prowl and devour until naught remain - Soon, you’d answer to your callings.

May we meet in the battlefield. May your courage finally show and rage. May you die an honourable death.

“A shepard without his flock is just an idiot without his stick..”

Angelika Bykov shook her head in disgust at the taunting of the Hangmen victory. ”Nie matter what they say, the Holy Orenian Empire shall prevail. We have the numbers, and most importantly, we have Godan on our side.”

”’Tis disgusting – The nobles that reside within their citadels and relax in comfort amidst their walls; The men and soldiers, they die for the name of The Orenian Empire. None to remember them. They parade about their words, watching idly as good men perish for no cause.”

An ‘Aheral murmurs, his gaze set before the parchment – Fingers scrunched upon the letter, eyes hardened in disgust. He’d speak once more.

”How many more must die as they sip on wine, clothed in the finest silk? – How many more must dig their own graves before those nobles finally realize that words are meaningless; Amounting to nothing?”

“Our Gracious Imperial Majesty is in his seventies or eighties, of course he’s not on the battlefield anymore.. do they think he lost his eye in a game of darts? Fools.”

(( Holy **** that art is good!))

“Isn’t it strange, they claim Imperial men are throwing their lives away seeking war, yet they harass and target lone women outside of the Provinces. A bit of a tainted message, really, claiming t’ be some sort of honorable warriors whilst acting like bandits,” remarks a young statesmen.

“Ahh, a young man of only 80?” Olaf cries out “If I were not disabled I would be out their fighting among our lads!” The 85 year old man shouts “he’s still got another fourty years before he’ll die of gluttony.”

“Look, see the women and children who rally at the stall of confession with their lukewarm Emperor in mind: they do nothing but speak ill; they are full of hatred and envy, and they are naught but lukewarm like he. Keep the company, then, of those of the good, and put your trust in God, not an Emperor lacking God.”
“Your Emperor, your sovereign Lord- His affections have become the most disgusting of them all. His feet, they are not nailed to the Earth, more-so that of meaningless titles and coin; likewise, the peoples are nailed to the Earth, that which God blessed us with, but governed by a Man that knows absolutely naught of God, nor of his Earth - and this is a cause for why you are all hindered from the good of this world. His hands, they are frozen; full of hatred, envy, and ungoverned pride in himself, filled with his debilitating vices. He has a maw, but does not speak; no prayer to God, no prayer for his peoples, and that which he does is not heard, for the words of evil and repugnant men are heard not by God but by the Daemon below.”
“Ask of you, do I, kindred of the most Holy Father – Do not encumber yourselves; do not confess to or with him, because you will be bound to become lukewarm and malignant like he. Those who do what he does and confide in him, those who follow the false-shepherd, are bound to be like him. And, as we have seen, this false-shepherd has led our peoples only to death and damnation. Is this truly what God wanted for our kind? Ask yourself this, kindred of the most Holy Father, ‘is our Emperor just?’.”

Brandt Barclay looked at the parchment with furrowed brows and an expression of confussion in his face ”So they are killing the same people they want to help?” he sighed, shaking his head as he remembered of his encounter with one of the alligance members ”Would be helpful they start asking questions first und attack second... almost injured one of the Hanseti they swore not to harm at one point”
