Osvald nodded towards Viktor, as the couple next table argued. It wasvabout the man dancing with other women. Upon hearing Viktor's loud remark, the man stands up in anger. Osvald hands him this missive. The man reads it, furrowing his brows. He seems worried about the emergence of Horen claimants. The woman seens equally disappointed, not at this missive, but at the man.

Whispers among the Auldmirian clanfolk grew, speaking of a return of the old lineage of Horen. Long, long ago, they did serve as vassals to the Horens, and long ago they saw glory brought to a broken nation. The current clan patriarch, Andreas, ruminated the possibility of such a thing. Too long had it been since he last heard the dragon-blooded line’s name uttered, and while a flutter of hope for the old ways did stir within him as he worked in his grand forge, hope didn’t hammer steel into shape. Hope didn’t get things done.

 Only steel did.

“Their fire, the flames that burn the damned.”

A lone and decrepit man spoke, his body contained within a deathbed – His gaunt and pale fingers grasped upon the frames, seeking to pull himself out with much difficulty.

“Their gaze, burning pyres at which all sin will be judged.”

He stumbled upon his path, the ash-ridden body collapsing onto the floor; Broken bones impaling his worn skin. Bile arose from the corners of his lips, miasma spewed out onto the oak surface as it clung onto his weakening form.

“Their brilliance shall light the valorous path.”

A silence plagued his lips, his eyes soon closing yet none could hide the veiled smile that stretched onto his visage.

Billy the bread vendor walks across the forum, his trusty and reliable broom in hand, he shakes his head as he surveys the forum that the people had gathered in to discuss the missive “Looks like i’ve got my work cut out for me...” he says as he begins to clean up all the spittle and crumpled missives and other detritus left about on the floor “It’s a dirty job, a thankless one, and frankly, a rather underappreciated one, but if I nay did it, we’d be swimmin’ in spittle and crumpled paper.” he says pushing some papers along with his broom

Nicoletta Sofiya looks down from the seven skies, snorting. “Of course my old friend Persus would bed all these woman and stir bastards. What can you expect from Horen men!” she’d shrug, sipping her illatian wine.

Bailey Horen smiles the sun’s smile as she drinks her grape juice, unable to legally have a glass of wine for like five more months.
