Grand Marshal Dimlin Irongut wishes to remind the world and our kin that our axes are always sharp, and our shields are always ready. That the dwarven folk stands vigilant as protectors of the Realm. All fighters are welcome, be them Beardlings or Longbeards, lads or lassies, anyone willing to fight with honor. The winner of this tournament will hold the honor of being the victor amongst the Dwedmar people, a privilege that will recognize them as an elite warrior, someone other dwarves will be able to look up to. May Dungrimm guide your blades and may Morug gift you with a true aim” TIME AND LOCATION The Tournament will be hosted one stone week from now in the Legion Halls of Urguan.((Saturday, September 12, 4:00 PM EST)) ITINERARY The tournament will consist of two different events, the first event will be the Archery Tournament, an event in which the participants will battle each other with a dwarven bow and some arrows. The rules of this event are simple, participants will fight one vs. one until one can’t fight any longer. This will be repeated until only 1 remains, this participant will be granted the prize of the victor. The second event consists of the truest form of dwarven combat, close-ranged melee fighting. The rules of this last event are simple, participants will fight one vs. one, wearing the provided armor and using the provided sword, until the other can’t continue fighting, this will continue until the moment that there is only one participant left. This participant will be recognized as the victor and be rewarded accordingly. ((OOC: The first event will be Bow Only PvP with no armor, 1v1 brackets until only one participant remains. The second event will be melee PvP with leather armor and stone swords, 1v1 brackets until only one participant remains.)) TOURNAMENT RULES 1. Every Fighter will be provided with a set of leather gear. 2. Every fighter will be provided with a stone sword. 3. Every archer will be provided with a set of leather gear 4. Every archer will be provided with a suitable bow & a quiver full of arrows (32 arrows) 5. Shields will not be permitted during this tournament. 6. The Laws of the Grand Kingdom apply to this tournament. 7. The use of performance-enhancing herbs, drugs, or alchemical reagents is not permitted.
