In lights of this publication, His Holiness the High Pontiff Owyn III wishes to respond publicly to the allegations levied.

 

An election that faced administrative difficulties pertaining to Cyril Cardinalis Borealis' vote, and the chaotic transition that followed after the Papal enthronement of 1802, had caused the unfortunate misjudgement of His Holiness to make this mistake in his First Golden Bull.

 

Although other allegations in the publication are false, and merely theatrics, it is pertinent of any good Canonist to recognize his mistake wherever he may make it. Therefore, His Holiness the High Pontiff shall reinstate Johan Cardinalis Vuiller to the now Sextarchy of the Holy Mother Church.

 

It is indeed true that His Holiness had, from the capacity of Premier of Kaedrin & Prince-Archbishop of Albarosa, published writings to the people of Hanseti-Ruska. These are however older than forty years, and as such, do not represent the opinions and worldview of His Holiness who, as of now, resides in Karosgrad. Furthermore, His Holiness had greatly expanded the representation of Haeseni clergy within the Holy Mother Church, and relaxed its ecclesiastical doctrines to allow the restoration of the Ruskan rite under careful guidance. Actions speak louder than words.

 

His Holiness wishes to conclude this response by a sincere apology to Johan Cardinalis Vuiller, and shall in the future remain more vigilant in its proceedings and administration. Further deliberation regarding the college of cardinals shall be discussed in the First Diet of Albarosa on ((Saturday 5PM EST)) with the invited clergy.
