The Hounds of Don Contract

of 1819

 

 

WHEREAS the Pagan Belligerents of Norland have dared of offensively begrudge the Holy Orenian Empire, a realm that has only worked inward for Her peace. 

 

WHEREAS the Pagan belligerents of Norland have proclaimed bloodshed against Horen’s descendants for their political facade, they shall be met with overwhelming force upon the battlefield. 

 

WHEREAS the Empire recognizes the importance of a united Humanity against the Pagan belligerents among their Canonist brothers with the Hounds of Don.

 

It is hereby decreed that the Imperial Government hire the Hounds of Don for a contract that will hold until the end of the tenth Nordling War, with the expectations that the Hounds of Don shall aid in the Empire’s offensive battles and in the defend of Canonist people within the Empire’s crownlands. This contract is hereby set upon the following terms.

 

1) The Hounds of Don shall receive a sum of 3,000 minae for their participation in the aforementioned war. 

 

2) The Hounds of Don shall receive a bonus of 500 minae upon Imperial Victory of the aforementioned war. 

 

3) For every major battle the Hounds of Don shall receive 200 minae for an assembly of 1000 soldiers. 

 

4)  The Hounds of Don are an organization that is not affiliated with any government. They agree to the terms of this document for the purposes of defending the faith and protecting Canonists in foreign lands. 

 

5) The adherence to Imperial Law and heed of the General of the Imperial State Army and the Imperial Government will be required by the Hounds of Don within the Imperial lands and any of her offensive and defensives in the aforementioned war.
