Our Beloved subjects,

It is Our supreme displeasure to have learned of the betrayal of God by Simon Pruvia, a servant of the vile lizard Azdromoth. In observing the graveness of his heresy, he shall be henceforth declared an enemy of the state, his right to hold Our peerage defunct, and inherited by his legal successor.

It shall be the sworn duty of Our loyal subjects to report upon the whereabouts of heretics of the realm, the importance of which is doubled with regard to those who call themselves ‘Azdrazi’, and tripled with regard to the reprobate, known as Simon the Lizard.

ISSUED AND PROCLAIMED,

Philip II, by the grace of GOD Holy Orenian Emperor, forever August, King of Renatus, Curon, Kaedrin, Salvus, and Seventis, Defender of the Faith, Grand Duke of Ves, Helena, Novellen and Lorraine, Baron of Renzfeld, Protector of the Heartlanders, Orenian Highlanders, and Farfolk, etcetera

Anne Caroline offered her father a bright smile, her head bowing deeply. "GOD bless the Empire." She then pressed a kiss to her son's cheek and told him; "Pull the house out of this mess, Philip."

The Archchancellor sends word to the War Office to strip the accolades of the now disgraced Simon the Lizard. To think all he had worked for, the battles fought, the service given was now forfeit. A selfish maneuver to seek a demonic power from the Arch-worm, trading their freedom for middling power. As well, the cowardice to put their own family in danger sickened him, but he thought perhaps the fraternity of the cold blooded was worth more to Simon now than what he had before his fall from grace. Drasus would call to a military attaché . . .

"Bring me the old files on the 4th Brigade."

The Princess Imperial sighs "I always knew something was off about Simon. The only small blessing in all of this is that my dear sister is free of that scaly yoke around her neck," she says incautiously to @lillyeveans. "These floral cigarettes-- ah, what a delight."

A Lady of Silver would drink her tea with her pinky extended, taking a long swig from the ornate cup.

"Ah... GOD bless the Orenian Empire!"

Philip Hughes de Rosius shrugged, though scoffing a bit while reading the judgement outside. "Ah.. the inevitable stench of utter heresy and treason, batârd traître. Both of the stenches create a massive stain of merde.  May GOD try to find mercy upon his soul, should He have mercy at this point before you are damned to the Void to meet the Deceiver. GOD save the Emperor and his Empire. Oren Aut Mortem. He then scoffed once more, muttering to himself "A true crime against the Imperial Crown, may the justice of the Empire prevail and may GOD save his Canonist flock against the Azdrazi."

Captain Erik Othaman would receive the message as he scratched his chin for a moment at the unusual request. After a beat, he'd stand up from his desk as he made his way deeper into the depths of the Bastion. A loud 'click'  was audible as a great door swung open, admitting the Fourth Brigadier inside to grab the files requested. The door slammed shut behind him as he did so.

Vladrick var Ruthern would read through the missive, setting it aside and sharpening his halberd (which is for sale by the way just saying)

"Pruvia? He seemed a decent fellow....but well, now that the Ministry must spend our afternoon in the Archives penning all new records...I am quite biffed"

The Elf remarks, preparing new peerage forms and getting quills and ink pots ready.

Philip got hold of the news, momentarily a tear dropped from his eyes and steadily slipped down his face. He'd leave Provins and position himself in front of it with gaze towards the dark sky dotted with white stars. The man signed the Lorraine and attempted to speak with Godan. "I seek your wisdom in such moments, be my side, O mighty creator. For I'm the most virtuous, I pray to you and I don't sin. My father has died in my eyes, I must be strong from now so do reward me with power.. O, hear me, Godan!"

Joseph d'Azor set the missive upon his desk as he pursed his lips, looking to the window the rain was falling in sheets, seeming to shatter against the glass with vigorous fury. As the man stared out into the muddy countryside north of Providence he could not help but be taken back to a battle many years before, where Simon Pruvia had fought at his side with the Count of Susa and many others. "Simon made his choice, his choice goes against GOD and the Empire." Joseph seemed to assure himself with careful reminder. "He fought for the Empire at one time, he bled alongside me but now he has taken solace in the arms of lizardkin, I pray he sees the light, and that GOD is merciful upon his soul. But the Emperors justice will prevail..." The Heir to Azor folded the missive and paced along the wooden floor to a nearby shelf, depositing the missive among other important documents.

"Remember when they tried to kill you for it, Eminence?" Holy Sir Armand recalled, grimacing at the missive.

Alfred lets out a sigh of relief, cursing under his breath as he looks at the realm from above, "If only people listened, if only..", he nods at the words of Cardinal Basil, shaking his head.
