helldiving 5793 Share Posted March 30, 2022 A TRAGEDY IN THREE ACTS ISSUED AND CONFIRMED BY HIS SERENE HIGHNESS THE PRINCE OF SAVOY, 10TH OF SUN’S SMILE, 1866 HARK YE AND BEAR WITNESS, IN THE FIRST, An attack on Our person, unwarranted and unexpected; by those We called cousin, aunt and uncle. Our ailing nation brought further into turmoil by the machinations of Imperial sinners. Yet We, GOD-fearing, ever-forgiving, took it to be a mistaken blow by irrational Men. IN THE SECOND, An attempt at a coup, irrational and irreverent of law and order; a betrayal in Our own home, by one We called sister, backed by the legions of the anathema. We prevailed, for Our blade is one guided by the determination of Our countrymen; yet they forced upon us the title of kinslayer to do so. This We cannot forgive. IN THE THIRD, A war ensues, A friend did we offer our leal service in their protection in a quarrel most honourable. Upon its conclusion, and our subsequent conquest: a betrayal most foul. For such action, a slap upon the wrist, whilst a clandestine pat on the back from a most ignoble Novellen and that Aurelian Brotherhood saught to condemn us. THEREFORE, LET IT BE SO, We see now that no amount of Our leniency seems dissuasion to the foul Novellen, who would turn sister upon brother - in jealousy, no doubt, of Our ability to befriend our siblings without the urge to bed them. Let Our blades be guided by His will, and Our shields fortified by His light. Consider this a declaration of WAR, plain and true; for the Sun need not skulk in the shadows. GOD-WILLING, HIS SERENE HIGHNESS, Lucien I, Prince of Savoy, Duke of Corazon, Count of San Luciano, Peremont and Sarissa, Baron of Brynnrose, and etcetera. GMRO 6187 Share Posted March 30, 2022 The Grand Prince, Karl Sigmar, smiled. "Let us go forth. For traitors and rapscallions against honour with hope, shall pay." He did mutter then to Lucien, their hands fresh with cuts from an agreement before made in blood.

Shmeepicus 4217 Share Posted March 30, 2022 Ivan var Ruthern glanced over the news- then glanced at a stack of current treaties on his left. "Huh- non-aggression pact.. with Savoy. I thought the Savoyard princeling to be honourable- yet he draws fictitious claims and lines in the sand. Oh well- Savoy can bring them and all three hundred of their men to the battle, doesn't change much."
Cepheid 4304 Share Posted March 30, 2022 Vasileia sips on her wine after the news was delivered to her observatory within the halls of Temesch. "I told you so!" The Basrid called downstairs towards the visiting Imperials that had delivered her the news and it was read to her.
ratlordmagic 1484 Share Posted March 30, 2022 “About verdammen time.” Adalrich Barclay nods, heading to his storage room. He hoped his old Argent Legion armor still fit as well as it did when he wore it during the Civil War. ——— In the county of Lvinsk, a half-Oyashiman teenager heads down to the city barracks, in what he hopes to be defiance of his father’s wishes, in order to enlist. amyselia 2962 Share Posted March 30, 2022 Claude of Savoy, from the cloisters of Aster Hall's hay-stacked dungeons for the mentally ill and ascetic zealots, uttered another ill-begotten sigh on behalf of her family's neverending dramatics. "If there is not already a play in the drafts about our demented family, I would be disappointed if playwrights across the globe did not take advantage of such a paradoxical series of events as that which seems to curse the name of 'Savoie' in the lands of Almaris. Betrayal, heartbreak and murder aplenty." She thus resumed scouring through hundreds of books brimmed with centuries of research.
Traveller 2718 Share Posted March 30, 2022 Savoyard Commander Sebastian Velho would be sat on a bench in the Margraviate of Lvinsk, the missive would be located at his side and he could be seen chuckling at it whilst polishing his longsword. "It's just about time to show the Empire that the Savoyard people are not a nation to be pushed around."
pkdon 2045 Share Posted March 30, 2022 "Nothing changes. They shall all die." said Hadrian van Aert, tossing the missive aside as he continued in his war preparations.

LithiumSedai 5750 Share Posted March 30, 2022 Roy Mor signed the cross upon reading the declaration, grabbing his bonnet and his claymore in preparation to join the front! He chanted a Daelish war tune. "We'll go— we'll go, and meet the foe, and fling the plaid, and swing the blade, and forward dash and hack and slash...!" MailC3p 2413 Share Posted March 30, 2022 Arthur Komnenos looked over the missive of Savoy declaring war, a chuckle came upon him “besides the men of the Daelandic, who’ve been in this war since the beginning, my shitty little barony can rally more people then that of Savoy, especially after their capitol was destroyed, they maytry but in the end they’re just a canonist version of Norland”
