THE’s FERRYMAN RANSOM

Presented by the Ferrymen

To the King of Haense,

We have captured Lady Palatine Isabel Baruch and she is currently being held hostage at the Ferryman Keep near the northern hub. At the end of the day, I am a generous halfling, and I’m willing to let this Lady Palatine live.

Bring us 5,000 minas at the front of our gates, or I’ll personally deliver her ******* head to you. Disgusting humans!

Signed,

King Sugarfoot II

"We've put them in a bad position here..." Iscesi'd sigh, leaning himself against the arrays of cells - one of which Isabel sat within "A lose-lose for them - their army dies, or they lose five-thousand."

Isabel Baruch enjoyed a game of rock paper scissors with one of the Ferrymen within her cell.

A certain also violent halfling nods in approval. Here was one of their race they wouldn't mind associating with!

"The same Ferrymen funded by Malinor?" asked Ser Walton.

Malgunuz would wipe the blood from his sword, ash falling from the cactus green in his mouth.  He would hear some small men shouting insults as they hid within their keep.  The last seven defenders of the keep were unfortunately too craven to face the assembled horde.  He looked down the road as Haense escorted the saved princess back to their city.  With so many dead ferrymen the gathered horde began to roll their rotting corpses into the river to clear a path back home.

"Mi tink dat diz klomp bi ovur.  Hozh work every azh dat helped!"
