YOTH BRATHMORDAKIN NA YOTH URGUAN

ᛁᛟᚦ ᛒᚱᚨᚦᛗᛟᚱᛞᚨᚲᛁᚾ ᚾᚨ ᛁᛟᚦ ᚢᚱᚷᚢᚨᚾ

With the start of the year, the Grand Kingdom wishes to inform its citizens of the progress made since the ascension of the new King and to share the current agenda of the Obsidian Throne in order to improve transparency between the government and dwedmar.

ECONOMY
ᛖᚲᛟᚾᛟᛗᛁ

In the short time that has passed since the election, less than a stone week, the economy has grown from two thousand mina, to three and a half thousand mina. The economy is on track to paying off its debts to the monks, but the situation is still unstable.

Economic efforts to reduce the financial burdens are being implemented, such as allowing the leasing of land, hosting auctions and most importantly establishing of trade relations with other nations. The Grand Kingdom will continue to seek trade relations, as well as invest in various sources of revenue such as enchanting, brewing potions and drink, and mineral goods.

LEGION

ᛚᛖᚷᛁᛟᚾ

Currently, the Legion has only a handful of officers who perform their duties, in efforts to boost recruitment, as well as resource gathering, The Grand King will host training and rallies himself, while plans are being made for its eventual reformation.

In addition to this, the local land is being scouted and plans are being drafted in order to shape the mountain better towards the defence of the city, as well as the recruitment of engineers to install gates and other mechanical defences.

In addition to this, The Grand Kingdom would like to formally declare the dissolution of Belka’s Fleet. With the lack of port, manpower, budget and so on, the kingdom cannot justify having an overly large but wasteful branch of the military.

Legionnaires will from now on be trained to serve upon military vessels to ensure naval prowess.

COMMENDATIONS

ᚲᛟᛗᛗᛖᚾᛞᚨᛏᛟᚾᛊ

The Grand Kingdom would like to officially thank the following dwedmar for their contributions in recent times.

Bostone Grimgold and Goimbar Goldhand, for their efforts in constructing more underground housing for the kingdom, as well as helping in renovating the Throne room.

Bandal Grimgold, for his efforts in tavernkeeping and helping Goimbar and the King develop infrastructure leading downwards to the unbuilt bay area.

Conan Goldhand for stewarding the Kingdom well, negotiating two trade pacts so far, and hosting a successful auction.

Barundin Goldhand, for establishing a foothold for the dwarves to call home, and for constructings farmland outside of the capital for dwedmar to use.

Celeste’tol Blackroot, for intensely farming potatoes to the point where Hefrumm’s chests were overflowing with them, which allowed for the entire kingdom to remain fed for several months.

Auriel Doomforged, for reforming the Order of the Reforged into the prominent organisation it is today, which allows for the protection and defence of Urguan. As well as her undeniable faithfulness in teaching the Brathmordakin to the dwarves.

Naturally, there are other dwarves who have greatly contributed to the Kingdom but have not been mentioned. The dwarves listed above are simply the ones who the Crown has noticed. May all dwarves strive to work for the benefit of the Kingdom, for through cooperation we shall have unity.

HONOUR SYSTEM
ᚺᛟᚾᛟᚢᚱ ᛊᛁᛊᛏᛖᛗ

Following the Commendations, the Kingdom would like to develop a system to reward material contributors, such as those who donate Iron and Mina to the Kingdom. Whether such a system will be reinstated into the Honour Point program of the Legion, or whether it will be its standalone system is undecided.

However, it is the Grand King’s personal desire to reward those dwarves who actively contribute to the benefit of the Kingdom, so the Crown will always take note and appreciate those who work towards progress.
