Upon returning home from a diplomatic meeting, I walk into Vallagne to find the Chapel in ruins, the stone covered in soot. The white stones have been stained black with ash from their burnt, sinning souls and the fire that they bring. May this stand as an example of the honour of the Veletzians, the faith that they hold themselves to. Should they ever seek to regain themselves under the light of GOD, let it be remembered what they do to the Houses of GOD.

 

The Abbey of St. Edmund shall be restored, let it be known. It will never be the same, may it be rebuilt in black stones to show the resilience of the Petrans and our faith that we uphold even through secular war.

Upon returning back to the Commonwealth alongside Wilhemina 'Emma', Adrian Godfrey glares upon the ruined church, wondering how long it will take to be rebuilt and where his wedding should be hosted in the absence of the Abbey. His mind soon wondered elsewhere, if Reinhold children, who had been captured alongside him, had been fortunate enough to return back to Vallagne from their unexpected trip to the Veletzian Capital.
