"Make peace with us! Those alliance mutts say as they pillage and raid the country side of all lands, carrying off women and children if they aren't killed outright. Truly they must surely be seeking peace with such deplorable actions. The Veletzian alliance will not get the control they so desperately want, the world wont yield to these monsters." said Belie the Butler to the other servantry as he replaces candles and old bouquets around the Palace in Vallagne

"Wubdezkha?" A Goblin would say as they scratched their head profusely in confusion "Yub, Rex has asked to have peace many times. Horde simply wants their sands back from when your rexes decided to invade our lands." The goblin would say pausing for a moment. "Maybe latz should ask latz own rex why they haven't tried discussing peace back? Our very race has been threatened since the beginning of this war and both sides have seen losses but it is only when the outnumbered horde starts winning that latz wants to speak of the horrors of war." The goblin would finish, clearly having more to say but turning to welcome the new influx of Goblins to the city.

"You know what they say about property.

Haus states towards his Yisar, already halfway into a bottle of something alcoholic as missive after missive begins to scatter across his desk.

"Fiction, not Fact. A pity about the throne, though - where else will the world source another dragon?"

The creature screech's in his ear, at wit's end with his rambling.

"Such is the decree of the Queen who fled!" called Dorat, the hound of Vlachia, as he read the missive from the royalty "Maybe stand and fight before speak boldly?"

Sir Philip scratched his head holding his helmet under his arm as he looked to Sir Ethan @Creator_Alan"I am confused Sir Ethan, they say we slaughtered children but - Did you not take it upon yourself to mentor one of the young Balianites? This is so very confusing, I think all the running has jumbled the queens thoughts."

Sir Philip pursed his lips.

"Tunnel air, that'll do it to ya."

Váli speaks his thoughts aloud as he sharpens his blade following the news. "Let the enemy continue their blustering, prattle is meaningless, their words carry no weight when their only purpose is to bluster about themselves, call themselves the good ones while they ally with those born of the dark. Have better words to speak, or let your blade do the speaking for you. We shall do the same."

"For one who calls us tonguedancers, they really sure do love to talk themselves up, don't they?"

"Mother above..."

Sydney curses, pacing in the home he shares with a dear friend. A friend he owes two years of rent to. A friend he accidentally sent two letters to- the cause of his mistake being the mysterious scar circling his neck.

Sydney has been lucky enough to make choices. He chose to come to Aevos. He chose to visit Balian. He chose not to fight. And Naya has supported all of those choices at every turn. There is a reason he refused to fight, even when Casimir asked him to. He didn't want to be a part of this. He couldn't be part of an army- a statistic, a group of numbers- that use children as weapons.

To him, they're all bastards. The ones who employ children to fight, and the ones who strike them down. To him, it seems like people don't expect him to understand much, but he does. He does understand some things. He understands that this war... It's just tradings of blows. What progress has actually been made? How many children have to bleed and die for a cause they cannot understand and will not understand for years?

So, the question arises.

What can do about this?

Maybe he'll find the answer.

The whitewash Uruk Scholar, Varn, organizes his letter he will soon send out about what happened during Krugsmas in Haense and Aaun. When he descended the stairs, he saw a missive on the floor of his house. After he sat by the fireplace to read it, he pinched the bridge of his nose just under his glasses and sighs “Da madnezz neveh ends duez et?” He spoke before he stood up, placing the missive for his adult kubz to read as he ascended the stairs to write another letter.

The Scholar needs more ink for all the missives he has been writing alongside his rough draft of his late-lifemate’s books.

Hali smiles upon reading the missive in the tavern in Numendil. “Let the brigands whine about ‘honor’ all they want. Veletzers have never known the meaning of that word anyway.”

Sir Ethan nodded to the young knight "These people will say anything to make themselves believe they are right. They burned two forts and believed they were winning. Now we deplete their armories while they send hoards to die. Just as they had done during the Adrian wars."
