Váli growls upon reading the words "You capture one of my brothers, you pillage neutral land, you bring darkspawn into your ranks...

...and we're the bad ones?"

he shakes his head "This will be settled on the battlefield. Righteous justice will be done."

"Lady Ar-malna, steward of Kaethul, is praised for her willingness to pay for the life of an individual within the neutral commerce territory of Kaethul.

Diplomatic channels were immediately opened with Veletz, who have returned every mina of the ransom money, on behalf of a 'satellite group', loosely entangled and uninformed of Haelun'or and the Commerce City of Kaethul's neutral status in the war."

Signed Yera Silveira, Overlord of Kaethul

Ahmed Al Kharouf would tend to his herd of goats while he would multitask and read the missive. With haste he would write a missive and attach it to his messenger goat, sent to Sir Gaspard. Written in the missive would be the following. @M1919

" Personally if that was me... I would not take that.

(P.S Do you have any goats to trade?)

- Ahmed Al Kharouf "

A fellow Norlandic bard gasps upon reading the news! “What lengths will they go if even we are not safe? Attacking bards? A new low.”

Amethyne spat on the ground, stomped on it, and rubbed it deep into the dirt with her 'yee-haw' boots. "They best prepare for what is to come for being dumb-fishes. I hope a feisty sea-beast come to drown all that they have, like 'Atlantis'"

Sydney grins, still taking it easy with his own wound. Thank the mother above he wasn't beheaded... He gave the bandits everything they asked for without resistance, he mentioned names of their allies, and they still tried to kill him.

If he hadn't been rushed to the clinic... well. The bracelet on his right wrist really must be lucky.

That group will get what's coming to them. They made a mistake when they robbed him and Iolas.

After all, he knows their faces.

Godwin Almireson, having been present for the encounter which took place, shakes his head. "Damn Veletz! Nowhere is safe with these monsters galivanting around."

He then strums a sad tune on his violin.

"Though Sir Gaspard probably doesn't partake in these ventures, he must surely know they take place - and seems to turn a blind eye to dishonour and barbarity perpetrated by his men. Or maybe he'll make an example of them now that a missive's been put up, who's to say. Regardless, something must be done about this, and that something will likely take the form of a field battle with Veletz, in.."

Edmund checked the calender.

"Two days. The GOD will surely choose the winner as He sees fit."

The analysis of the butler fell on deaf ears. Empty rooms did not make for good conversation, the old man reminded himself.

Captain Hawkins scanned the message with furrowed brows. His reading lessons had paid off. "Fuckin dogs." He said through gritted teeth "How low will these cowards go to prove themselves?"

He finished loading his ships cannons and prepared to set sail. "They say they fight for peace and prosperity but they're just god damned cowards hiding behind a false idol."

The hulking red ship raised its flags high and set off to sink another Cannonist ship.

Josef Denodado sighs after he read over the missive, pinching the bridge of his nose “First they kidnap political figures y burn down the churches of their opponents, now they attack neutral territory that their allies have pacts with? Is no where safe from Veletz’ terrors?” The Hyspian noble asked himself before setting the missive aside to focus on more important matters at hand.

The ‘whitewash’ Uruk, Varn, The Scholarbelts out laughing at the actions of Veletz from his home “Latz muz nub even uze der grukkerz, onleh out for men tu fyll der dizhonorable rankz. Diz cuud give da Burrz Uzg a reazon tu pull from da wagh.” He joked before getting serious once again “If onleh it waz dat zimple… no where en Aevoz iz zafe from der aktionz nub even da neutral Rexdomz.” The Scholar comments to himself before placing the missive on the growing pile of missives as he went back to his writings.

Blanca Anarore read the missive and narrowed her eyes.

"The very people I used to consider friends, attacking those I hold dear. Veletz says they want nothing but peace. They lie." At that Blanca threw out the missive.

A gray Ruric cackles to himself about Norland of all nations calling another nation a bandit nation. He'd sigh about the state of his home country and his now weak-willed country-men before crumpling up the missive and tossing it away
