spicii 1114 Share Posted January 7 Queen Sybille of the Dunes, Just earlier, during one of our everyday-treks through your arid, mud-ridden cesspool of a Jungle, we of the Rychwald stumbled upon an associate of yours going by the name of Lucian. We, out of boredom, and the good will of our hearts, also decided to take him back home with us. Let this be your chance. Prove to us that you truly are the ‘Queen of the People’ you so nonchalantly claim to be.We demand a sum of 1,000 mina. While we are open to the idea of negotiations, for each time you lower the price, the vintner shall lose a finger. Signed, Lucia Herleva Kovachev, Baroness of Rychwald

HIGH_FIRE 4118 Popular Post Share Posted January 7 Queen Sybille would read over the missive and shake her head, soon penning a letter back. "Send him back without his fingers, I will not fund terrorists who would simply use the mina to capture more people. Signed, HER ROYAL MAJESTY , Sybille I, by the Grace of GOD, Queen of Balian, Viscountess of Pompourelia, Eflen and Anatis, Baroness of Brucca,Valens, Malenos and Ciavola, Lady of Portoregne, Atrus and Monterosa, Warden of La Costa Rubinissima, Protector of the Heartlanders and the South, etcetera. p.s an arm for a parcel of land and one hundred and twelve sets of weapons and armour was a far better deal, please dont fall to economic inflation scares"

Crymson 481 Share Posted January 7 Hali snorted upon finding this missive. “Already back to old tactics so soon? Seems counting losses taught your alliance nothing.”
Jentos 6884 Share Posted January 7 A Nephilim prince considered sending an offer. If the queen would not have her own, he would take the man. Hell would be a better alternative than the miseries the Nephilim could inflict.

[!] A leather bag made its way outside the gates of Balian, the contents pertaining to human hands - splattered with specks of blood. Inside the hand, a slightly crumpled note situated itself. 'THE QUEEN WHO NEVER CAME.' @HIGH_FIRE

Jaslaw 272 Share Posted January 7 (edited) "Another one bites the dust! May the strong survive as they say, do they really think we dont have people to spare?" *Questioned a wood elf, having dealt way too much with this shiet to care anymore and more then beliving in the survival of the fittest at this point* "Besides. Fyodor looks up from his scripts, a familial history tome gifted by his cousin, having just read of the legitimization of an ancient Kovachev bastard, much like himself, except Fyodor did not associate with the ilk of magi. To taint the blood those who gave you everything is a grave transgression. Fyodor smiles shakes his head, returning to the book.

Had Fyodor perhaps examined the familial history just a little bit closer, he would realise said legitimised bastard, Viktor, had no such relations. Rather, it was one by the name of Rickard, true-born son of Sergei III. It would appear literacy skills and an untainted memory were also lacking in the present day generation of Kovachevs.
