Explanation

It’s time I air out the many issues going rampant within Hyspia and the many instances of toxicity.
 

For many months that I have been working my ass off building the community ever since its paste, the community reached its peak about one month in, only until people started to realize that the ‘new persona’ I’m playing is in fact not a new persona, but rather another FW disguise.

Nymstra & Lmcfc:
 

It all started when Lmcfc’s persona has caused enough IRP issues, talking shit, threats, etc, to warrant my persona initiating conflict, in which they first began to complain about how late it is their time, then stalling RP for over 3.5 hours, where she attempted to go through a Modreq, then an Sreq, claiming OOC targeting, claiming this and that, still refusing to RP despite the moderator (Annabanana) telling her to go through with the RP since it was fine. All that ended up happening was an excruciatingly long amount of stalling and #looc arguments where they straight up made the situation as miserable for everyone as it possibly could get.
 

This is where Nymstra comes in. Hopping in VC, in which ImageDragons and WaveLincoln were in it as well, who proceeded to absolutely chew me out OOC while she was stalling RP, claiming that apparently this RP is being a massive detriment to her mental health and whatever even though… I just initiated CRP over a persona that warranted it? Nymstra proceeded to act aggressive, in which I defended my stance on the situation, telling him that it is just RP, and there is no reason for both herself and him to hound me over it on an OOC level and attempt to harass me out of the roleplay which she caused. After an argument in VC, and after a text argument against Lmcfc, and making a public report on Digit_005 who admitted to metagaming after she begged him to help him in /msg, in which he apologized to it and was actually very well spoken about it, the situation finally ended with her ssing out. I wanted her to /d20 around the end of it all due to how frustrated I was but changed my mind. The public report was meant to primarily be against her, but I instead decided to go for Digit_005 since I felt bad about bringing the situation up again due to Nymstra.

Cactus_Tophat:
 

On top of the MANY times administration has attempted to get her to stop trying to go after someone I will not be naming for their privacy due to the repeated harassment against them, and extremely horrible & slanderous claims about them, she has not shown any bit of improvement in personality. We were friends at one point, but it unfortunately took a single OOC argument for her to go out of her way to attempt to destroy the narrative I’ve been setting up for Hyspia due to her personal grudges, in which she admitted in VC that she wanted me off the nation after it. First starting with her crying that we didn’t celebrate her birthday hard enough while we were in the middle of a warclaim, second time when she decided to make an orc alt and fight for Veletz’s side, which she lost in, and started to lose her mind in Hyspia’s #general channel, and finally the last situation (there were a bit more inbetween) where she started to claim meta and portrayed toxicity to everyone involved, where I finally told her off for it.

Her entire OOC scheme began after she begged me for alchemy OOCly since my persona portrayed herself as an alchemist, and one day, PCSwift, Cactus_Tophat and myself were in a VC, where I was going to go create a Homunculus, and they both asked me in VC if they could see the RP, and I was like yeah sure. So I brought them down, did the RP, they saw what it’s like and how alchemy feats are done and stuff, was gonna show them Animii stuff and whatever. Anyways, after the Cactus situation, she has unfortunately decided to use that against me due to OOC grudges, which, unfortunately I do not believe count as metagaming, but are worth mentioning.
PCSwift was nothing but great throughout all of this, just wanted to note.

Salvius:

 

Constant OOC attacks towards people, extreme displays of toxicity, namecalling, not understanding the concept of RP and proceeding to OOCly go after people over it, harassment.

Began when I sent a bird to Narthok’s persona Grommash, due to my persona being allied with the Qalasheen , and having witnessed an Orc attack the Qalasheen camp under Hyspia, which was all later voided by the way. The RP and the letter, due to reasons that do not concern the report as it was a CRP between two people not a part of the report that went sour.
Salvius was very unhappy that I had sent an unsigned letter telling Grommash to put a leash on the Orcs for attacking the Qalasheen, in which he began to attack me OOCly over it within the Hyspian council chat, which he has a habit of doing.

Another day, my persona witnessed the paladins storm Hyspia, where she immediately ran to hide, and after they performed their aurum tests on the citizenry and found a vampire to purge, I went to sleep since they weren’t going to interact with me. The next day, I wake up to everything being barged into and signs put everywhere. Naturally, my persona lost her shit, and she immediately wrote a misive denouncing the paladins for acting like your typical bandits despite being holy people. Mind you, I didn’t know OOC who it was, (and it wasn't them on an OOC level which i learnt about later on, but my persona did not know IRP and immediately pinned it on them) and this was a very good excuse for my persona to slander the paladins as it makes complete IRP sense for her. The missive was unsigned. Either way, after the post was made, Salvius proceeded to attack me OOC once again, where he got personal and did not stop despite many attempts to get him to. Only for people to pile in and do absolutely nothing in terms of dealing with this behavior. Everything is in the google doc above in terms of screenshots.


 

Nymstra & Salvius. The metagaming incident:

In retaliation for the IRP post, a meta-post was quickly after pumped out by Nymstra, making claims that my persona is a Frost Witch, despite having nothing that could lead to that belief, and no valid RP for it

-Nymstra broke the alchemy redlines of heat sight and arcana flow, claiming that Elena “glows like a christmas tree” with arcana flow when in disguise, and that heat sight would allow him to see her temperature and deduce, which I reminded him both forms of visions completely break the redlines.

 

-Elena, to the public eye, is known as nothing more than just a bitter older woman that cusses people out yet is nice and caring to people who are close to her (Alexander & Sandra), the only reason anyone ever thought of her being a frost witch living in a desert is because they're all OOCly aware of it, and tried to push for investigations for them to coincidentally find something out to lead into it.

 

-They failed the darkspawn test on Elena (which was honestly badly performed by them but the point stands), heat sight was abused yet without abuse would not aid them in this situation, arcana flow showed nothing wrong, she was nothing but an old alchemist to their eyes who had a few screws loose.

 

-The one thing I'll give them is the fact that there might've been something up with her and Eir, which Elena might've schemed. yet it makes no sense for it to be concluded as "frost witch" when she’s hunting a woman.

 

-Salvius failed to break through the last doors and then claimed to have seen a whole frost witch lair??? It was covered by banners and even if he claimed he could've seen a tiny bit on the edges, what makes him think it's a frost witch lair in a desert (which wasn't even the case) when he just saw like 2 ice blocks, instead of just another room? another alchemy room? some fridge or freezer for her alchemy stuff?

-They had nothing on them other than just a hunch and despite failing all of their tests they still went on to claim she's a frost witch due to OOC knowledge.

 

-And finally cactus tophat’s “oh no my mom made a homunculus” scummy RP over OOC retaliation that I had warned hyspia’s council about beforehand. 

Unsure if I mentioned it before but Cactus wanted to play a persona in the new Lebanese culture I created, which I joined in on my frost witch because I enjoy both the culture and the CA. Offered her an adopted persona which she could play

Finally, after I made an announcement stepping down from council, the first thing I see is that I have been insta-evicted from everywhere, and the doors broken from the underground rooms which I built all by hand, using my own minas, where I wanted to provide a place to do some alchemy RP in order to help Hyspia out, and Nymstra & Salvius going back at the whole “let’s get elena caught!!” RP, which they admitted in council chat.

All in all, I’m very ******* sorry for trying to RP in an RP server. I am very disappointed to see the repeated attempts at trying to **** over one's persona and ruining months' work of progress and plans in a nation over a quickly pumped out meta-post which they were forced to void by moderation, but then immediately went back to continue performing scummy RP to continue retaliating. Over and over.

At the end of the day I don't care when a disguise gets exposed usually. They're made to be exposed and are limitless, but the problem is when something so clearly OOCly driven is performed over and over in an attempt to **** over someone's day due to OOC grudges. I am not pissed about the disguise. I am pissed about the behavior displayed. I am pissed that everything I have worked for both IRP and for Hyspia as a whole have been taken away as they continue to **** me over with 0 regards for RP.

Lot to respond to but heres my two cents. Especially since I've been heavily here for part of these accusations.

 

With LMCFC: I personally told dio to go after them and not Digit for meta rallying someone. They never once showed any signs of apologizing for the agony of that crp. I understand for them it was late and that they felt attacked and meta'd against (Which they werent bc it was Elena in a disguise) Dio tried to keep this a secret that he was a frost witch and had to explain that it wasn't metagaming. Personally, I think it's worse to try and meta-rally people then for the people to show up because it's just sucky to tell someone about something and then have them not show up to save you.

 

Next With Nymstra joining in VC With Wavelincoln And I: Yeah, oocly he was angry, I get that. At the time I don't think he suspected Dio was a frost witch so he thought it was meta gaming to which I get. But he was quite angry, and it did feel like an attack. He was defending a friend who he thought was being wronged, which I get. But that doesn't mean you can act like that aggressively.

 

 

Now With Salvius: I was there when Dio left as the paladins entered the clinic. Irp My persona Alexander greeted them and led them to a room to cure the vampire patient. Then he proceeded to leave and return later when all the doors were jammed or ajar. I later made a post about this situation. (I admit and later changed the post name from nation to citizen because I did not have permission from the government to make this post) but then oocly I was told off in dms (Yes for a mistake on the post) but that it was still rp and that I called out the paladins anyways. Salvius very much cared more oocly about this and not the roleplay aspect and even after I changed it people were still upset. 

 

Salvius and Nymstra metagaming: Now I wasn't here for the darkspawn test but I was one of the few who knew oocly about the "Lair" underneath Hyspia, and irp on another persona I knew as well. I've been to the doors, I've seen the banners. It would be very hard to assume that is a frost witch lair, you are underground so its already cold, and a single block of ice is a bit much. There was the Eir roleplay that did make Demitrey and Alexander both question Elena and made them suspicious, but it's not enough to outright say frost witch instead of just a scheming killer which Alexander was beginning to lean towards or just mentally ill. After all this Nymstra decided to post a forum post and it was pinged in Hyspian discord for all to see without diogens approval telling everyone hes a darkspawn while also knowing he broke redlines and still decided to post that was crazy knowing it was metagamed.

 

Overall this entire situation sucks. Because of this Hyspia lost a great player, who gave my Hyspian (My first persona as a new player) so much fun rp with a crazy old hag, who he was slowly leaning towards maybe she has a secret. I feel awful for wavelincoln and the community he's been making to lose Diogen like this. It's a shame about Elena, she might be a disguise for Dio but she was a really cool persona (Ik not a persona). This entire situation has made me leave Hyspia as well. And While I admit I messed up on the not having gov approval for the post, the fact that there was no reason to lockpick the doors to begin with really screwed over my rp for this because it makes it feel sort of useless? Or not useless but perhaps ruined my rp for being anti paladin cause now it just ruined the investigation because I know who oocly did it and that Hyspians don't irp care cause they know who oocly did it. And now my persona is viewed as crazy for accusing heretics of committing a crime because they were backed by dwarfs. Which I was oocly told a bunch and made me feel incredibly sad to have even tried to rp about this.

Everything discussed here has not been given verdicts by staff, rather a very small minority of the report, which his one instance of metagaming, which you attempted to claim was never metagaming to begin with, and refused to make an announcement clearing up the situation and that it has been voided, after having pinged everyone with the meta-post.

The report itself brings up a much bigger problem present within Hyspia's council than that. The many counts of toxicity, the harassment, and the very scummy levels of RP with the only purpose of it being to make someone's experience miserable on the server.

What disappoints me is the fact that the first response from Hyspia's council when I made the report after my many attempts at trying to fix things due to caring for the nation was being removed from the servers. And just a reply on the forum post asking to close the case, really?

Whilst not having been witness to the events at hand, I can comment on the previous interactions I have had with Lmcfc wherein she has consistently utilized the fact that she has autism to generally make situations like these more uncomfortable and irritating to deal with for other players. So far as I am aware, I am permitted to make a singular comment on this report so long as I am aiding it.  This has been a repeating pattern for a long time, and not only was this shown in the previous report with her and Digit wherein she very clearly broke rules in order to win a pixel fight by asking someone OOCly to come and help her when she was in a bad spot, but in this report as well. As both a healthcare professional and an individual on the same spectrum, it is within my belief that the Moderation should take her condition into account not as something with which she should be given some form of leniency, but as something that has been continually utilized to generate excuses. There should be no excuse for bad behaviour and breaking rules, no matter what.

I was asked here to provide a testimony in my POV which I witnessed being around Dio.

Diogen and I are one of the closest people around, mainly because how we enjoy rp with one another and the fact we both come from the same culture OOCly which is rare in lotc in general. I wanted to highlight that the stress Dio puts about people targetting darkspawns in OOC, despite they failed a few times ICly is something, I, myself witnessed. 

It is always the niche of the Heroic Canonists, Templars and Paladins who are always trying to save the day by farming or abusing rules in order to ruin things other characters did. Diogen, despite being an evil witch, did nothing but the best to keep a nation thrive, similarly to what I did to Aaun, despite being a Dragonkin. I myself threatened people OOCly that if they do not drop the targetting I would make a report similarly to this, which gladly died out because I got my friend OOCly to 'kill me' privately.

I won't mention names, but some names I see in this report are very familiar in terms of metagaming and toxicity, which I do not condone myself. I hope the moderators take this report seriously and to not disappoint people as usual. Thank you.

Similarly while having no weight in this report as well, I think a lot of people on the server can testify to this being the case. LMCFC has done a lot of things that has caused people stress and caused issues yet always seems to justify throught their autism. It's a well known matter amongst a few communities yet it never seems to be brought up. Being on the spectrum isn't uncommon on this server at all, but treating it in such a manner for it to justify your own wrongdoings and bad behaviour should not be tolerated at such a consistent rate. I know several who have dealt with such behaviour and have seen it happen myself.
