While the works of the Shadow are to be abhorred across all the World, in times where the chaos of war still lingers, the Shadow finds easy harbor in the hearts of men. Therefore, it is a divine calling mandated by the Skies that this work be undertaken by the Jorenite clergy to restore not only the full radiance of the Light, but the trust and integrity of the Light within the Kingdom of Haense. Therefore, it is the annunciated will of the Light that: I. The Tribunal of the White Comet shall be formed to undertake a holy mission to root out all servants and works of the Shadow from the Archdiocese of Jorenus. II. The White Comet shall be composed of ordained clergymen of Jorenus and shall enlist the aide of foreign clerics and pious knights as necessary, especially in the matter of disposal of Darkspawn. III. All members of the White Comet shall be tested with aurum and salt prior to the assumption of their duties. IV. The White Comet shall compose a census of those tested and vindicated by the Light as true and pure souls, untainted by the Shadow, and furnish this to the Holy See. V. The White Comet shall investigate the allegations levied against the Royal House of Bihar, namely their purported consortium with a ‘lich’, and submit a report of their findings to the Holy See. All is willed by the Holy Light; thus, the spreading fear and chaos of the Shadow can only be intended as a divine mandate that we must not forget the diligence commanded unto us by the Scroll of Virtue.
