After years of senseless and unneeded violence against the Balianese and Hyspian people by those of Caelia, Haelun’or shall find peace and renewed friendship under the following terms of peace.

 

I-

 

The Silver State and Caelia will formally apologise for the varied complaints against the Caelian people who have harried the Kingdom of Balian and Sovereignty of Hyspia as follows

 

The Caelians have attacked Balianese and Hyspian people, even crucifying and executing those of Hyspian descent. They have blockaded the roads to Balian, even going as far as to build a guard tower over the bridge towards Balian, they have used such to force tests upon those who walk past. The Caelians have also attacked those in Balian land namely the Queen of Haense, and have led groups into Portoregne to harass the citizenry. Hyspians have also been robbed and extorted upon the roads. There are letters proving much of this from almost two decades prior.

 

Haelun’or has not spent this time completely ignorant of this issue at all as they have met with the Balianese government and Hyspian government now six times to discuss this matter, including the private meeting where the following terms were offered. The first four meetings to discuss such were fruitless and the Haelun’orians did nothing on the matter. In addition, the Haelun’orians and Orcs have been to several nations, namely Numendil and Lurin, spouting lies about Balian wishing to conquer the south and declare itself the Holy Orenian Empire. Haelun’or also apologises to Hyspia for incorrect uses of their titles and the misspelling of Soberana Ramona’s name.

 

II- 

 

The Kingdom of Balian will receive the sum of 5000 mina in reparations and all crucified bodies will be handed over for a proper canonist burial.

 

III-

 

The Sovereign State of Hyspia will receive the sum of 5000 mina in reparations and all Hyspian crucified bodies will be handed over for a proper canonist burial. In addition, Hyspia will be free to investigate the crimes committed against their people and extradite anyone they deem possibly guilty.

 

IV- 

 

The Caelians shall refrain from making any form of blockades upon the roads. In addition, they may not darkspawn test anyone without their permission unless they have evidence of them being darkspawn.

 

V- 

 

The Signatories shall enter a Non-Aggression pact that shall last Ten Years.

Josef Denodado-Berkhoven, a former Hyspian, looked at the missive. Though a thought of relief came through his mind that those crucified in Caelia were now at peace a scowl was on his face. “Unlike mein Canonist brethren of the Heartlands und Hyspia, Ich think forced aurum testing should be enforced throughout not just the the world at large but the Canondom as well.” He spoke as he signed the Lorraine “As Pontiff Caius I has spoke, we are now eternally at war with those of the Darkness and Iblessian ilk so now is no better time to enforce any and all means of identifying Darkspawn within our lands.” He added as he took a coffee “The Caelians were, in fact, cooking.”
