It was a mixture of horror and intrigue that filled her mind. The utter-destruction of Valdev and the construction of a new capital in its place, with the potential for both grief and renewed life breathed into the heart of their kingdom. Thus, the Cometborn decided she would not fear the intricacies of fate. Such was the case for my sestra's birth so many years ago, and such shall be the same this time. The theatrics are nonsense!" He waved his cane about in a rage, before coming to rest against a wall and catching his breath before any concerned family members could rush to him. For whatever reason, word of this comet and its impending doom seemed to anger the aged man. Perhaps he'd already seen one too many impending dooms already in his lifetime.
