Renilde smiles, reading her great-granddaughter's response from the bed of the River Petra, a gentle breeze rustling the page in her hands. "I still can't believe those three Aaunites were talking about it so loudly at my darling granddaughter's ball, of all places..." The old queen tsk’ed her tongue, and shook her head. “‘We will bend the Petrans to our will’,” she recited the words of one gentleman in particular, a scowl on her lips.

"A peace so deep," Villorik hummed, "it was like the Dark."

"Danke, vyr Majesty." Dame Monika states to herself, smiling the sun's smile as she read the response!

Charles II folded the Queen's response in half and put it back on the top of his desk "Her Majesty speaks with sense. Why would we respond to Lurinite requests of a diplomatic meeting if our state was getting ready for a military conflict with them? Words are empty, until they are supported by deeds and I am sure that the Legionnaires are far from our eastern border." The King of Aaun commented before releasing a sigh

Dame Rowena nodded as she read her sister's missive, agreeing with every word.

"Good. There is no need for war and death when there is a chance for diplomacy."

The uruk read over the missive, smiling lightly as he let out a sigh

"Another issue resolved... My first 4 months of being Lubba have been nothing but chaoticness and diplomacy. I thank ye for dismissing these rumours."

Isabeau recalled the actions of Bon'ox earlier that day - spitting on her, dropping his helmet on her - and whether or not they were meant to happen, Isabeau had, in the heat of the moment, called him a 'monster,' 'creature,' etcetera and so on and so forth. For a few hours at best, she felt disgusted by her actions - how could she be so - well - rude?! It had haunted her as she called for her chariot driver to fetch her and take her up to the Barony of Rosius, (for she had no intentions on walking up there herself - besides, what if a goblin attacked her again!) However, as she sat there, in that gauche, rose-imprinted chariot with gold accents, she read Adalia's missive, and suddenly, as if God had granted her his permission, she felt justified in her hatred for Bon'ox.

Bon'Ox gives a nod - he feels a 'little' bad since he had gotten a bird later on to discuss what had happened, yet still felt he had done the right thing, bringing the issue into the public eye.

However, the irony of him himself 'strong-arming' the royalty for a response in face of publicly outing a plot was not lost on him...

Theodore Elwood lets out a sigh of relief as he reads over the response. Though he still felt a pang of anxiety about it all, the young man felt far more comforted by the promise of one dual-Monarch. "God bless the Queen..." he mutters to himself as he puts the missive aside and gets back to transcribing the latest meet of the Garmont Assembly.

Ember yawns from a distant home.

"War is boring when it's teased or rumored. I just want some cake....such a weird craving, unlike some people I will make a cake and not make rumors about making one. If a war happens, they will know."

The elfess went to her kitchen to bake some velvet cake with vanilla frosting Her favorite!

Katrin Eryka Stafyr, sat in her study placed the missive on her table. For her one thing was clear: The Queen had made her decision and House Stafyr swore fealty to the Queen. With a sigh of relief she pushed herself off of her chair and knelt infront of the small altar on the opposite side of her room. The Baroness clasped the silver Hussarian cross- a last remnant of her time in the north, and prayed to Godan.. hopefully war had been prevented for the moment.
