Rezalisa grew to be quite still as she heard of the foul news, her pale fingers clasped her cross upon instinct; as she always has when strife creeps over her world.  "Godan grant them solace. ." she uttered under a breath, though her thoughts had begun to swirl.  With haste, she made out of her meagre room in pursuit of someone.

Sequestered in the White Comet Chapter House, Villorik closed his eyes as the bells tolled throughout New Valdev.

The afternoon light shone into the room through open shatters, lighting motes of dust in the air, and falling upon his ornate helmet, gleaming on its wings. His face exposed, Villorik raised a hand, and gently thumbed the deep sword-scar that ran down his left cheek - a momento of King Ivan from long ago, when they were both much greener men.

Scars are monuments, he told himself as the bells rang.

This scar, he would wear with pride.

Far off from the Capital of New Valdev, the Baron of Katabánya recieved the missive as he surveyed the lands his kin were to settle. As Alekszej's eyes traced the words of the missive, a frown formed across his face as he signed the Hussaryian "The Koeng e Koenas have passed, GODAN deliver their souls. After a moment of silence he spoke "Long live the Koeng. Long may he reign!"

Despite the fact that he and the King Ivan VIII had different political visions, the truth is that Marc Galbraith held him in high regard. He considered Ivan to be a solid statesman and a brave warrior. Marc prayed for the fallen King and Queen, and wished success to the new monarch of Haense, King Marius III.

The Marian Squire and Royal Herald Ratibor drew a sharp, shuddering breath as he slumped back. He'd failed them, again, and this time there was no-one to take the reigns and ensure their safety. Not like last time, with his uncle.

The man, once a boy who'd marvelled to serve the pair of monarchs and considered himself close to the Queen, wept quietly in the solitude of his home.

"These halls, they must surely mean to mock us at this point" muttered a young crow, the smell of soot still haunting the air of Lesanov as she roamed through it''s quieted halls "First Alexander falls within our home, now the very pillars of the Kingdom. The only solace that may be granted lay with them leaving together, so neither may be subjected to the harsh reality of fallen love."

Stefaniya concluded her monologue, making to add to the vigils within the castle.

Being nl is tough, being nl of haense is even tougher. It's a brutal spot, with far too many eyes, and many many outspoken voices because it is so well loved. You both did so well, as can be shown by the vastly successful state of the nation right now. Be proud of the work you put in, it hasn't gone unnoticed.

Cheers to retirement my friends.

(I think this is the nicest I've ever been while referring to indi, be grateful, I'll go back to being rude later (kayla ily))

Milena Anastasya received the news in stony silence, having awoken in the night to rousing screams echoing throughout Kastell Lesanov. Knights and maids had doused those flames, but it had not been enough to save Ivan and Nataliya. Charred remains, clutching at one another, was how the great prophecy of the Twin Crows had come to a close.

The dour princess would brood on this circumstance alongside her husband Josef, wondering if this untimely end and the murder of Prince Alexander had some greater connection than she could presently discern. The halls of that crimson castle were surely haunted, now. Much of the same, to one cursed to contend with the departed.

The Lord Kortrevich and Palatine hurried out of his office chambers as he heard the clamors of Knights making their way toward the Monarchs bed chambers. It was not long that he and the young Grand Prince, now King, learned of the demise of The Twin Crows. As the nation mourned the crows who perished in flames, the Bull knew. . .

"The work has just begun"

"What of the next?" Inquired his Nephew.
