Juliya Barclay signed the Lorraine as she prayed alongside the Grand Prince Marius. A few tears dropped from her cheeks as she grieved the losses of the Koenas and Koeng.

"Shall they rest well in the Seven Skies... truly, Haense shall mourn the loss of their leaders.."

{!} The Marshal slumped into his chair the next morning, his face coated with ash from attempting to stop the raging inferno that had engulfed the Keep, he looked out his window to see the smoke billowing in the distance. It clung to the cold Haeseni air like a constant reminder of their failure, he sighed.

"Another sleepless night, and the death of Royalty to follow"

The marshal murmured and for the first time in twenty years, he poured out an alcoholic beverage his choice a vintage carrion black the glass bubbled with the strange ancient liquid the Marshal Reminiced upon the times he had spent with the King and the Queen.

"Krusae Zwy Kongzem" He uttered Quietly knowing the loss was not something to celebrate, as he drank deeply from his goblet he poured the rest out for the fallen, before aptly deciding to take himself to bathe the ash and the stench of death from his skin.

"Godan rest their souls and may they be accepted to the seven skies in peace"

OOC- Thank you for everything Indi + Kayla, I hope you can look back upon the fond memories not the bad ones.

King Alexander II of Balian read over the missive as it was delivered by crow. The King whom found himself on a pilgrimage would light a candle by a wayward shrine as he muttered a prayer for the late King and Queen of Haense.

Somewhere in in a dark cave, a being who had long forgotten his name lifted his head as the whispers of a new King reach his ear. In a raspy voice filled with regret, and anger he mutters, "Marius . . ." They cling to the cave walls, pulling themselves up, broken chains hung from his wrist. Long had he rested here, years, decades, but no longer.

Pavel signs a two-barred cross, kicking a frozen chunk of mud from the edge of a riverbank, crusted with the snow of yesterday. He'd make East, cold winds wafting down a slope, to notify his dear friend Tancred of what had transpired.
