Herewald laid his spear atop his fireplace.. He had no doubt - that should Leon's words not be heard, it would be seized, and dragged to war.

“His Holiness has brought us peace let those who would consider breaking it think on his efforts.” Wilhelm nodded in agreement to his monarch’s words. For he had had his fill of war.“ Let Reinmar stand as an example to others in those our most holiest of peace.”

"Well said, Your Royal Highness." said Father Marc upon hearing of the Prince of Reinmar's vow. "May Tiberias of the Middenland continue his unholy conquest, we will rise in defense of our Holy Mother Church."

Barry Blackworth raises his brow upon hearing word of the missive. "It's odd they assume we march on the Kin Slayer for their Kin Slaying and not for their murder and assault on Blackworth civilians and attempt on our Soverign's life."

Gottfried Barclay muttered a prayer to Saint Tylos upon returning home the night all had transpired, hopeful that those living in Ravenmire, and whomever else had been addressed, would see sense and lay down their arms now that 'divine justice', as his kinsmen had called it, had been had.

Erwin Barclay smiled as he read the missive and made a vow to be as eloquent as his princely grandfather.

"Not dense, Gaspard. I will not lower myself to dishing out childhood insults. They are misinformed of our intentions. The Reinmaren are good folk, stalwart folk. I do not seek quarrel with them, but they have been gravely misinformed as to our intentions. We do not march solely for the act of kinslaying, but to avenge our fallen Knights and friends, to avenge the grievous wounds dealt unto our people. If the men of Reinmar only knew our true cause, I am sure they would be much more sympathetic."

The Duke moved to pat his former squire, now knight's shoulder. It was then that a sigh released from the learned man.

"My fight is not with the Reinmaren. I pray to GOD on high that those who would name us such cruel things come to see our point of view in time."

Adelmar raises a brow far away from Barry Blackworth. "Make up your story then!!!"

Constantine would go to look at the next paragraph of the missive "I think it says it right here good sir."

In the southern lands, Queen Lavanya read the document with discerning eyes. "The duty of a monarch is to the safety and prosperity of their people, and to the church which they have vowed to serve. Whatever grievances they may still hold, should be placed aside for their peoples benefit. What has been done is done. Should they raise a blade yet, they break the sanctity on which they stand as a land which touts their affirmations of the church." she placed the letter down, looking to the side at her son @Andustar "Always remember this, for when you succeed us and hold the lives of many in your hands, my dearest child."

"Right, so why are you attacking the High Pontiff for the crimes of a banished king? I don't recall the Pontiff sending bandits after you, nor Godwin, King in Aaun!" says Adelmar in retort, since Constantine seemed to witness him complain!
