During this time of trouble, it is important to remember the gifts God does bless us with. Matrimony, like the union between Juliya & Horen as well as Tara & Joren, is a blessing his flock receives. It is with his guidance and his control of destiny that the Lady Ipera and the Prinzen Hogmund found each other.

 

From childhood, the two were close friends and during her departure they spent many years apart. Once reunited, such friendship turned to more and as God’s fate would have it they fell in love.

 

With that, a royal wedding was thus declared— to be overseen and shepherded by the Patriarch Alaric in the Basilica within Nau Valdev.

 

 

The first activity of the reception is a game of Jagsk ve Svin (Chase the Pig)  in which women and men will go on a chase trying to find a pig within Nau Valdev. Whoever catches the pig, it is said, will either marry next or receive good fortune in the year.

 

The second activity of the reception will be an archery contest, in which the winner will receive a mina prize of one hundred mina and receive the title of BRATEJ I RUGAZ (Champion of Arrows)

Dame Dima reviewed the invitation as she made sure to clear her schedule for the marriage of one of her childhood friends. "Dobry for her..." She was glad for her friend's return, Ipera being welcomed with open arms by her home nation.

Ser Sigmar would gaze upon the invitation with a smile. He was happy to have seen his niece return, happier so to see her marry after all that time away. 

 

"Vyr mamej would be happy for vy, Ipera. This Ea truly believe." He'd comment, that smile remaining even after he had folded the invite back up. He'd begin looking for an outfit.

Katerina merely held the fated invitation in her slender fingers, her touch careful. With a slow inhale, she lifted it to her chest, holding it close to her, a swell of pride filling her heart.

 

Her cousin, a bride. A future secured.

 

Her boney fingers tightened ever so slightly. She smoothed the parchment against her chest, letting the quiet swell of pride settle over the gnawing fear of spinsterdom creeping closer to her day by day.
