The dark-haired heir of the Petran Commonwealth looked over the missive before it was posted onto the notice boards, "Strange times we live in." - "His death and exile has been decreed, and so, it is law." Although malice did not fill his thoughts, shame certainly did.

Rewan gasped at the news:

Not one, but two beings of magical nature? I suppose the deviant could not limit himself to one.

“Its those damn romance books. This is why they ought to stay banned!” Sir Dietrich commented upon reading the missive and having been present for the ordeal around its writing. With a tsk he folded the missive neatly to set within his bag, he knew his husband would get a kick out of this one.

Godfrey Cardinal St. Tylos was, all things considered, quite traumatised by these events,

"AAARGH. I hope they catch him swiftly. And make his death slow! I hope! I hope!!"

That elderly Cardinal could be heard shouting from the Temple of St. Julia for a good few hours afterwards.

If anything, baffling though the claims were, at least the fact he had signed off on this was thus obviously not in doubt.

The great-nephew of the Archduke, Gilles Therin, would be provided the missive by a servant. As he looked over the parchment, prismarine hues would widen in shock.

“Who would even provide rites for such an abhorrence?!” The young man exclaimed.

From within the home of Haus Theonus, Lukas listens to the news with a face of utmost disgust. "Isn't zhis zhe same man who claimed to adopt ein Mori child?" The question wasn't one meant to be answered directly, for he knew the truth of his own eyes not even a year prior. He'd thought this man one of ill temper at the time, though, excusable by the actions of one as unnatural as Ubes. This news, however, simply proved to Lukas that Daemon must truly be maddened to his very core. "Ich haven't seen zhe Archduke make ein public decree like this...ever! What a shame, zhis man. May his family prove zheir honor on zheir own - maybe by publicly disowning him."

Farther in the countryside, the Grand Speaker of the Garmont Assembly catches word of this decree several days after its publishing. To his grand-nephew, Theodore simply says "First Darkspawn in our homes, now a degenerate in our landed houses. Let us pray that Archduke Joseph's swift justice keeps the Inquisition at bay a little longer."

The Admiral Maerîl sees the missive, her brows delving deeper and deeper into a chevron over her eyes. Mouth perked into a disgusted scowl. “We’re bedding robots now? What the ****?” And burned the missive on a candle nearby to cleanse her eyes of it.
