The mortal races just got plain annoying. Do you think the end was fun for us? How about we remove all the mortal races because some people have some grievances with them. Seems a smart and fair thing to do.

I do have to admit that it wasn't very fair to remove our role play (to which we did willingly in the end) to try and improve everyone else's roleplay only for us to now be caught up in even more stale RP than when we did have the Asc/und conflict...

Irony has a strange way... in the attempt of the server bettering itself it has only lessened itself of late.

The way they went about it as well was not fair at all to say the least, our RP was cut short nearly all the time in the final two months of the server to the point that neither side could actually RP anything. The GM's just took over everything and hardly cared for lore in the end. Instead they went with the quickest option available, it is funny also how you all complianed about scripted events but that the final undead event was scripted beyond most. The Undead were technically suppose to have a 50/50 chance of winning the final event, but then of course when they did win first time around the GM's intervened and did it again... and surprise surprise, they didn't care that it ended with someone using ileagal RP items (ender pearls) to wing the entire event, to which many had spent a lot of time building and preping for this moment, and then they threw it into the wrong hole...

I'm sorry but RP is RP on this server... if your screwed up in RP you have screwed up in RP... The GM's can't decide that is the right hole to throw the axe into seeing how the key thing in their name is that they are MODERATORS. Not CONTROLLERS. We don't call them GC's, their role is to make sure role play is fair and fun, and deal with rule breakers. This however does not mean they can control RP and make it turn out the way they want it. RP is RP... if there is a chance the undead can come back and the RP happens they cannot stop it... seeing how it is a contradiction of what they are there for.

The final event was a sham, everything in it was a sham, only 8 or so people got to take part in it, the undead didn't get to RP at all... The ascended RP was negligible due to our plugin being broken for over 5 weeks prior to this happening (yes, they had five weeks at least to fix our plugin so we could actually RP one last time only for the final day to come and all of us sitting on the side lines).

We, yes, WE, were robbed of our characters, Robbed of our RP, Robbed of what makes the server fun for us, Robbed of lore, Robbed of our friends (most have left now due to this so thanks for that as well...).

And all because of this server... I don't know about you... but I think that you should be ashamed of yourselves. I truly do... there was little honour in the final event, and there was little honour in the player base at the time.

Thanks to you all, you robbed us of all that because of your selfish reasons, and we complied because we thought we would make the server better.

But it seems that was fiction, the true fact is... we were needed more than everyone could've ever thought.

Now we are trying to fix this FOR the server, FOR YOU, again... We don't have to do this you know... we could just let the server continue on with dull and stale RP, but no, WE, are doing this for you.

I hope you take that into your hearts after all you have done to us.

I hope you remember Shoi, I hope you remember Charlie, I hope you remember all of them. Because they are nearly all gone now because of you. Such admirable roleplayers of the server that are now gone... after all they had done for you. But they were more than just good roleplayers though, they were determined, they were honourable... and they were my friends.

They're all gone now, because of you.

Some of you make me sick sometimes.

What you say is true, the undead were wronged. But that alone does not mean we should bring them back. I still think we have other options available and challenge all the former undead and ascended to come up with at least one new one. Instead of giving the player base the option of Undead or No Undead, give us real choices. Or as has been said many times before, create something new as a player without GM approval or help. Start small and if its a good idea it will grow on its own.

Problem is though is that we also want our rp back seeing how it was our thing... it is like me taking away your seer powers etc... we want to have something that our characters can actually do.

Why can't it be undead? We have a chance to make a fresh start... do things different. Heck we even have an idea for houses of undead to show that during the long time of the nether enclosement, the undead inside became somewhat divided from one another and formed houses. And that these houses would have their own smaller fueds whilst sometimes teaming up to tackle bigger prey.

Can I ask... what gives any of you the right to dictate the RP when it quite obviously can happen? What happened to "no scripted events" eh? Or are we just contradicting ourselves again for I don't know many times it has been now.

Well that is true. Nothing makes the undead worse than a new lore as long as they are not "rushed".

But Iblees will be using secrecy right? The fact that he is thought to be beaten to his advantage to make grant impact which will turn his chances in favor of him?

It would be much more fun if it was a surprise (I know you said there would be a surprise but I am not sure what you meant).

Edit: Houses seem like a good idea as long as there is a good distinction between them and a decent reason to have them separate.. Good night all.

This is a start, If you laid forth a proposal for the new undead as good as the blood mages you would of coarse have my support. What people fear is a portal opening up, with undead flying out fireballs flying everywhere and lightning burning anyone too close. I fear many felt an unbalance, That once a player became an undead they gained far more than they lost. The same is true of the Ascended, which is why so many people strove so hard to become them. I am sure you remember reading letter after letter, book after book about a new player "Wishing to join" the undead, after being in Aegis only a few days. I am intrigued by many of your ideas, I only want to see the options laid forth "if" we must choose a new good vs evil scenario. My ultimate wish still lays in having players start something small and watch it grow.

The best part of the undead unfolding plans were in watching it grow, seeing powerful men and women of all the nations slowly corrupted, a silence predator that controlled in silence the doings of the world. It is far more intriguing to watch than the actual control that came later, and let to the "event" of misfortune.

I have little to almost no knowledge of Undead and Ascended, but it seems very interesting.

I vote to have them back, but please no god mode, can there be a way to stop them from attacking? Repel them? (I know very little about them and honestly don't know if there is a way but I figure if people complain of them having god mode I guess there are not.)
