Return Of The Undead & Ascended?

I believe I still have a say in this, as this is a community.

After seeing what has been said by Goliath, I will certainly admit that, that sounds exhilarating and fun. Stale RP has taken over what I have been doing since I joined LoTC since I came around that time. I support the undead and ascended coming back, but could they actually be more active than from what I have heard?

I met an ascended in RP and he claimed that all of them have been sitting on their asses.

For some reason I have been hunted down by invisible flying blood mages or something, I don't really know, and get shot with fireballs for no reason... I would not enjoy the Undead one bit if that were to happen, being invisible is not cool, or fun.

The thing is, no one truly had my staff, least of all Regaki.

The staff Regaki had was a fake, it was not my real staff, thus why when I took it from his grasp, I smashed it. My staff is hidden because my soul is intertwined within it's very fabric. Even if you had my staff, you can't use it because it will only work for me, nor can a staff bring back the Undead. Cataris doesn't want the Undead back since they had control over him, without them he has free will.

EDIT: I have never claimed to have the REAL staff of Cataris, nor the power to bring back the Undead.

After scrolling through the page, I've noticed someone bring up something about Demons.

After thinking about it extensively, I thought of what they could be, like a threat to even the Undead if it's possible.

The idea was kind of inspired by H.P Lovecraft's Cthulu Mythos; Demons could be cosmic creatures floating in the vast space beyond the planet that Asulon and Aegis are on. They are some mistake the Creator made and tossed aside into 'space', but they grew in power instead, absorbing the energy of the things floating in space to gain said power. When the mass fluxes of power went off on the planet that Aegis and Asulon were on, the magical wars between the Undead, Ascended and so on, they were attracted to the planet because of the energy that it held beneath it's atmosphere.

If space is not existent in the LoTC universe [which would be puzzling], then this wouldn't really be possible. It's just an idea I made in about 15 minutes of thinking. So uh. Meh.

If we take this idea furthur, I suguest that lore dictates that these guys would be the minor 'demons'. Beacause let's face it, the big baddies of the Void would pretty much be able to wipe the floor with us. I've heard people mentioning the 'old gods' of the continent in rp, how cool would it be to have one of those guys show up and save our sorry arses when one of the boss demons shows up?

It shows that 4 months ago, we didn't realise how stale RP would become without the Undead(wasn't 4 months ago like JUST after they were banished to the Nether?). Now lots of people realise it and everyone is voting yes this time.

Yeah but it wasn't that long since they were banished and because of that, people just said, "We're still getting used to Asulon"
