Mogroka, I suggest moving this about 2-3 hours later, as many players are at school/work or sleeping at that time. Cataris may still be sleeping at that time (mostlikely not, he doesn't sleep). I will sadly not be able to attend this if the times are not change, but I wish you both luck on the success of this idea.

((To tell the truth I do not know why you are blaming Mogroka for this in any way shape or form. The admins of the server, including Mogroka, are merely trying to strengthen the roleplay experience of us (the players). You may complain about all the changed but when the players and split half and half on if they like or hate something it is very hard for one person to decide on what to do.

People had both loved and hated the undead, everyone having many different opinions about them. When we were in Aegis there was hardly any nation to nation roleplay, it had always been nation to antagonist. With the change to Ausulon that did not include the undead there had been a significant increase in nation to nation conflict which actually made roleplay come easier and in most circumstances brought more enjoyable roleplay for the average player.

After a while from the start of Ausulon players who were mostly not apart of nations began to complain about the lack of roleplay due to nations being much more spread out then they were in Aegis. At the same time there had been ideas about adding another antagonist different then that of the undead. As you know especially, from making the lore, the Blood Mages were created. You might complain about the fact that he took them away so quickly, but from what I personally have heard and read many people did not enjoy the roleplay that the blood mages brought. The main problem of this most likely being that they were 'not' as good as the undead. These new antagonists were not as involved in everyday roleplay then those of the old undead who you could perhaps see just walking down the road.

It has been and is going to be very difficult to find the perfect combination of Antagonist Roleplay and Nation Roleplay, which Mogroka is attempting to find the perfect combination for. In my opinion I hope that we can find what we will stick with soon as these large changes have been very hard on people. You should especially know this, creating a lore for months and having it thrown away. I just feel that we should not smite and talk harshly of those who are trying so dearly to improve our roleplay experience. I hope you understand how I feel, and I would also like to thank Mogroka for all the work he has done for us.))

Couldn't agree more in this situation.

If it was pushed to possibly 4 PM eastern, I am sure a lot more people (East coasters) would be able to attend the event.

Myself included.

((I completely agree because I live in that time zone and have to attend my last day of school, though it might be a half day......well still better for it to be a little later.))

Is this attack something announced?

Or will these guys suddenly show up on the roads marching near Arthor and everyone goes."ZOMG, RUUUN!"

'Cause if it's announced, you'll have alot more apposition during the initial attack.

There always seems to be more and more war. Nothing but war the majority of the time...

Even though we are in the medieval ages and war was common in those times. There were peaceful times. I believe that's how it should be here. Sometimes there is just too much Conflict RP. It gets tiring after awhile.

But I do like this idea. As I was a huge fan of the Ascended and the Undead. =P

(( War... War never changes.

But seriously, we didn't give the blood mages a chance really. I think they would of been good. Maybe recruiting the orcs to help them or something. I know there was IRL reasons for the warclaim on Skravia not happening, but I think the bloodmages had potential. ))

((If you don't worship Iblees, then who do you worship? Also, I was wondering if there is some way we could learn about this rp'ly, and therefore be at the battle. I hope there is, because this will be my first battle, and an epic one :D. Is this the reason for the increased spawn rate of mobs? I was just wondering.))

(( I logged in today and all of my townsfolk were saying how they spent a long night fighting all sorts of monsters, and that a whole bunch of people got killed. I think that the spawnrates have increased, because it sounded like a pretty big deal. ))

((The server itself has been going down all day don't worry. Besides the event was supposed to begin at 2pm EST and it is now 4:40 without the parties conducting this attacking having logged on. It'll probably be postponed or moved to a secret time.))
