Significant Roleplay Changes

Aegis didn't have a game of thrones mentality, it is as simple as that.

Yeah, Good point. I never actually encountered the flays until the end of Asulon...

Okay, basically; Give all the facts before making a huge. HUGE. decision like this. Or at least give them ... better than just a blunt "You're getting this, you can negotiate later" kind of thing. We may be clay in your hands, but move us too much and we'll split and crack and break.

Sorry but, I joined an RP server. Not a PvP server.

If this is a joke, you guys sure as hell are not funny.

People who are complaining are mostly guys who never played during Aegis and dont know how its like lol

No, people who are complaining are most likely people who don't want to go back to Once Upon a Time.

This is literally the worst decision the staff has ever made. I have a shitty computer which lags like no other. An RP fight is a loss, regardless of what happens. This simply makes no sense and benefits nobody. Ban powergamers, don't try to avoid them by making PVP default.

Don't go around spiting in white roses face then, if its like aegis at all you can avoid PVP with RP you just have to be smart

Seriously pvp as default, sorry but people who complaint about roleplay as default are PvPers.

Exactly. This is a ROLEPLAY server, not a PvP server. Why are people complaining about roleplay fighting when this is a roleplay server?

All villains (or rather, everybody) that ever did anything besides confront their target or quarry in open combat, rest in peace.

R.I.P. Knox...

R.I.P. Perfectionist

R.I.P. Sprat

R.I.P. all else.

As a mage this is a pretty :( decision as I can see, weeks from now if this stays in affect when I offer RP fighting people will be used to PvP fighting and pester myself to PvP fight as well with a staff. I enjoyed RP in RP servers. :<

If you think Lord of the Craft has become a PvP faction server, you obviously haven't realized that you can do things beside combat.

We're going back to the "Aegis Glory Days", but with much more experience and knowledge of what is good and bad.

That was actually the most beautiful thing I have ever seen.

I am okay with this. Doesn't bother me, and if it did I would go become a peaceful farmer. Don't like combat? Don't be combat oriented. This was a good decision, people will come to accept it, and the server will mature. I am happy today

I'm happy for the decision, now you won't be stalled into waiting 15 minutes for opposing parties to come, fights will be quick and bloody, this is Minecraft and I've had more fun in one battle or raid than fighting a long-drawn out RP fight which inevitably turns into a discussion or rage fest.

Atleast allow it to play out as it will.

Welcome to Lord of the Craft! PvP faction server!

Better?

So you're saying all of 2011, and half of 2012 LoTC was a factions PVP server? Seriously lol, people need to realize that there is absolutely no point in profession plugins, magic plugins, weapons, if it's not default to use it.

Saying " RP on RP servers " is a very ignorant statement, you have to consider the fact that this is an RP server on Minecraft.

So happy this is back, RP fights were just annoyingly long matches of who could power-game harder.

What about Dread Knights?
What about villains with good ways of killing?
What about people who come to the server for roleplay rather then pvp?
