- Rule changes: Better, but there's still a few clarifications to make. The villain rules could use some touching up, too.

- Application system: Finally. We've gotten rid of most of the unnecessary parts and hopefully we'll start getting a lot more applicants once we get back up in the minestatus rankings. Good job on getting votifier fixed and setting up that lottery thing, by the way.

- Strikes are pretty much short bans. Why can't they just be short bans?

- Villain applications don't need removed, really, but they need to go through a similar transformation to the server application.

- The staff are doing a good job, but I think we underestimate how many we need on a couple of the teams. Namely the GM team. I know that there are a lot, but I've seen maybe ten different ones logged into the server lately and only some of them do modreqs frequently. It'd be nice if there were more that were willing to help out or just more in general.

- The antagonist isn't scary at all and they definitely haven't inspired the four races to band together to defeat their enemy like the undead did. I've seen one of them, ever. Maybe I'm not hanging out in the right places.

Overall, I do believe that we're moving in the right direction. But we're definitely not where we need to be just yet.

I highly reccomend a PVP default. I personally won't be able to more then slap folks around with my barehands, not wearing armor until the Nexus magic plug-in is released for non-antags though :P

The only thing I really want to mention is the VAs and Applications. I think the looser applications for the server will work really well, and the VAs should follow suit. That's pretty much it. I like the Antags, the staff, and the rules. Keep up the good work guys!

I suppose I am the only one that thinks VA is not strict enough. *Hides in a corner.

 

-I think that a cooler idea for an Antagonist would be an actual mortal. Perhaps a mortal character that believes his actions are justified for the greater good. There are a lot of wars going on at any given time, perhaps he thinks that he could be the war to end all wars.

Only thing I got to say is that I voted alright for staff because half of the people in half the staff teams do a crap job.

The rest is straight forward. Don't care for the most part, keep VAs to a certain level.

It improved, but has not yet changed too much. Keep up the decent work, and perhaps we'll get there by Newtonmas!

I think the server should remove VA's and make PVP default for a week, so how it goes, I think most people will have a blast after the initial wave of edgy assassins

I think they just need to be loosened otherwise we are gonna have criminals left right and center because they can. I think all the app needs is a basic bio of the char and maybe something to prove they are gonna be at least a decent rp villian. Plus then the staff will know who's a villain and who's not. That's really the main purpose of a VA, just to say tell the staff that you are now a villain and can do things within the rules set by the staff.

Another thing which I think needs to be addressed and enforced by the staff is the destruction of many excessive settlements and the reconstruction of the capital cities (To make them more Salvus sized), in order to centralize RP. It is quite obvious that this is only going to happen if staff give them a push because of the tremendous effort required. The staff should enforce this because it would improve the server's roleplaying quality and quantity in the long term.

I do not suggest both at the same time, that is just asking for bad things to happen, maybe one each week.

I think something that may pull new players in us a little trial map. When I joined my first RP server, I ky on it for a no th before finding this place, they had a small map for players that had not joined. They woke up in a burning home an had to make their way through the town helping citizens. At one point a dragon swooped down as caused you to jump down a hole into a sewer which you then had to swim through and park out your way out landing on little notches in the wall. When you got out you found a boat that took you to

The mainland. It was a fun little thing that explained a bit of the server to

Running theough. Maybe do something like that.

We already have criminals left right and center. Wouldn't make much difference if we removed the VA.

Va's are over bearing and it doesn't give a sence of good RPers just good writers. There are some people who can't write to save their life but are excellent RPers and there are people who are excellent Writers who cant RP to save their life. Honestly I think it would be best if they were all in all removed.

I personally think that the no VAs and PVP default ideas should not be used together. Combined, LoTC would become a PVP madhouse.

For the love of god. Do not remove Va's. That's the only thing keeping people from doing what I described in the news feed.
