  1. I remember all the times I opened up discord to see a new Gemeye-update from Reece. It was very intriguing to see this project slowly take shape, absolutely beautifull. Props to Reece and props to Royal, what a project and what a way to do it!
  2. Amorukedos Aurok would read the missive with a grumble. "Lucerative..." It would state before going out to hoard some cards.
  3. A golem hummed, deep under a mountain far away. "Elgi..." It said as it read the missive. A faint red glow eminated from sigils all over it's body as the construct marched out of the gate, to victory.
  4. The Woodland Watch "For hearth and home" Babblebrook has too long been left unprotected, the gates often wide open for foes to enter the village. I, Boulder Cutton, have been appointed by King Patches Runeflower to found and lead Babblebrook's new defending force: The Woodland Watch The Watch will perform regular patrols of Babblebrook's lands, man the watchtowers, walls and gates, and will serve as the primary military force for the highland musin in times of need. The Woodland Watch will operate with a specific set of roles, all of which will be detailed below: Brookguard - The leader of the Woodland Watch Hearthguard - The second in command Watchmouse - The average guard All newly reqruited musin will begin their journey in The Watch as a Watchmouse, being promoted at the current Brookguard's descretion. There will also be the guard-title of "Sparrow", bestowed upon any member of The Watch which has showed exceptional valour, up to the descretion of the current Brookguard. The title bestowed serves as an identifier amongst the guard force, a prefix denoting their efforts in protecting the land they call home. While this title does not denote any increase in rank, a Sparrow exemplifies the traits that recruits hope to achieve. If you wish to join the Woodland Watch, please send a letter to Brookguard Boulder Cutton. Signed: Boulder Cutton, Brookguard of Babblebrook's Woodland Watch.
  5. Deep under a mountain a golem awakes... It writes down a name in it's mind. "Search..." A sound like stones falling, then silence.
  6. Amorukedos Aurok would hum as it read the missive, marching out of the city and towards Babblebrook for preparations...
  7. A Golden Goodbye ------------------------------------------------------------ Issued on the 3rd of the Amber Cold, Year 221 of the Second Age. I hereby announce my immidiate departure as Yemekar's Pick, my attention now being on personal matters. I trust my successor will lead the Workforce competently. This week's quota will be cancelled. During my time as Yemekar's Pick I have been working on a project with aid of the Workforce, which I wish to gift to the Grand King of Urguan, Ulfar Starbreaker, at a time that suits him. Narvok oz Urguan, Narvok oz Yemekar! ------------------------------------------------------------ Signed: Amorukedos Aurok - Officer of Dungrimm's Legion, clanfather of the Elder Clan Goldhand.
  8. Amorukedos Aurok would quickly march home upon reading the missive, swiftly penning a letter to Sigrun. "I will aid." It grumbled as it did so...
  9. I agree! As a dwarf player this is especially interesting for me :)
  10. I like the system how it is now tbh, especially after reading Squak's comment. Rn if the rare materials are actually rare, because they take effort to get and stuff like that. You just dont walk around every other corner and find a piece of carbarum, which I think is how it should be. Also, it's a roleplay server, would make sense to have to rp to get some of the more rare materials on the server. Also ties in to irp knowledge on how to work with such materials, which I think should be a prized skill and not just something everyone can do. Items made of rare materials should almost be relics/artefacts per definition in my opinion, not something you can buy from some random merchant. I guess there's some problems with that idea but whatever you get me I guess that's mostly true, tho look at the dwarves... mostly EU players, they get ST events a lot, with ST mats too! (whitewolf being a chad moment fr)
  11. The Workforce Anew I hereby announce the immidiate departure of Vollok Frostbeard as Yemekar's Pick. I will fill this position in his leave, in hopes of propelling the Urguani Workforce to yet unseen heights. Together with the leaders of the seperate guilds I have been making plans for our workers to prosper, all of which I will detail below. Key Changes Reimplementation of the quota system. Weekly crafting events. New White Hammer guild lord. Workforce Bazaar. If there are questions please direct them to either me or the other guild lords, and we shall answer as soon as possible. Signed: Amorukedos Aurok - Yemekar's Pick, Officer of Dungrimm's Legion, clanfather of the Elder Clan Goldhand.
  12. Loving the little application graphs as always, looks really cool Thx community team for helping this server survive 🙏
  13. A golem would sit in the dark, staring down upon the village. A faint blue light eminating from its sigils. A long hum could be heard echoing through the valley as it spectated. "I will protect." It would say before going down and greeting the musin in their new home. "Long may this last."
  14. dwarves dont rp greed enough on LotC, at least not from what I've seen (This is even true for Goldhands...)
  15. Hey bro! I assume you've been told the lore already by now, but if u want u can play my characters son/daughter (now around 80 years old so not that young). 17. The Wronged: The Elder Clan Goldhand and all its members and asosciates. The Assailant: The traitor Alaric Grimgold and the Library of the Grand Kingdom of Urguan. The Wrong: The public and longenduring discrace of the Elder Clan Goldhand by A. Grimgold, by means of publishing a book titled 'The dwarven rules of business', in which the assailant clearly copies parts of the Goldhand Rules of Trade and claims them to be his. Tens of new rules are added to this aswell, most of which are a pure disgrace to all Merchants. The displaying of the aforementioned book by the Library of the Grand Kindom of Urguan, in doing so leaving the (stolen) legacy of the proven traitor A. Grimgold visible in the Kingdom and humiliating the Elder Clan Goldhand. The book has been displayed in the shelf 'Informational', under the section 'Dwarven Culture and Miscellanious'. (Proof of these crimes shall be attached below and is visible in the Library.) Date of Wrongdoing: Unknown. Terms of Settlement: For the horrible slander commited by A. Grimgold and the (possibly accidental) supporting of said crimes by the Library of the Grand Kingdom of Urguan, the Elder Clan Goldhand requests the book and all existing and future copies of it to be burned. The Library of the Grand Kingdom of Urguan shall then be forgiven. An invastigation into the collection of the Library shall have to be undertaken to track down any more books written by the traitor, which shall be burned along with the aforementioned book. NARVOK OZ URGUAN, NARVOK OZ AUROKANAR!

  19. THE GLOIODI AND MOTHER GLOIODIS Physiology Gloiodi are very uniform creatures, with all of them being the exact same as long as the Mother Gloiodis is fed enough. If this is not the case, the creatures will become deformed and not function properly. They are exactly 4 feet high and made of flesh, unlike the Mother Gloiodis. The creatures look very much like toads. The Gloiodi stand on their hind legs, this being their preferred way of moving. They are slow to move both mentally and physically and they are just a bit smarter than a dog. They follow commands from the Mother Gloiodis and are unable to disobey them. The Goloiodi can use the claws on their front legs to strike at opponents, though these lack power and accuracy. For more precise strikes over longer ranges, the Gloiodi can use their tongue in much the same way a toad would capture a bug. It’s about 2.5 feet in length, and though being as strong as the grip of a fully grown descendant it can be cut off with fair ease. It is sticky, making the grip even stronger. Their skin is similar to that of a human, though very slimy. This slime is similar to the mucus found on snails, keeping the Gloiodis’ body moistened. If this slime is removed, by rain or other means, the Gloiodis will dry out and be unable to move, dying quickly unless being brought back to their Mother Gloiodis. Being in water has the same effect as being covered in this slime. The slime has no effect unless ingested, making a creature too sick to fight until all the slime is thrown up, after which there would be no lasting effects. All other Gloiodi, including the Mother Gloiodis, are invulnerable to this slime. The Gloiodi can only see black and white. This makes their vision worse than that of the average descendant, though they can see at night. They do not mind water, though are cautious not to accidentaly rinse off their vital slime. The Gloiodi communicate with eachother and their Mother Gloiodis via a weird, slurred speach. It is unable to be understood by any descendant. The creatures can smell and hear just like descendants. They do feel pain, though when their Mother Gloiodis commands them to do something they will try and complete this task without any care for pain or personal loss. Habitat The remaining Gloiodi and their Mother Gloiodis live in a large cave, a singular cavern connected by a tunnel to the outside world. The cavern is bare, with only a small stream present to keep the creatures alive. There are no structures built by the creatures themselves seeing as they are unable to efficiently do so. Redlines The Gloiodi are player event creatures. The Gloiodi cannot be tamed under any circumstance. Gloiodi always listen to their Mother Gloiodis. When their Mother Gloiodis is gone, they will wander aimlessly and die quickly. Gloiodi cannot effectively wield any weapon due to their slow physical and mental movements. The slime found on a Gloiodis' skin is useless when harvested, drying up quickly and having no particular effects. The flesh of a Gloiodi is inedible. Gloiodi cannot reproduce without a Mother Gloiodis. Gloiodi eat almost anything, their preferred food being bugs. Gloiodi need water to survive. The Mother Gloiodis The Mother Gloiodis is the mother of all Gloiodi. Before the descendants came there were multiple Mother Gloiodi, though now only one remains. It resembles a large hump of slime, about 20 feet in diameter and 5 feet in height. This slime is poisonous, killing when ingested and giving off a burning sensation when applied to skin. This feeling subsides when the skin is rinsed in water, though a green hue can be seen on the skin for some time after. Other Gloiodi are invulnerable to this slime. The creature is made up completely of the aforementioned slime, and all of it has the poisonous effects. There would seem to be no intestines present. The Mother Gloiodis is far smarter than the normal Gloiodi, mastering their every move. It is fed by its offspring which cut up food and throw it into the creature’s slimy body, the food slowly disappearing and being consumed. This food is used to keep the Mother Gloiodis alive though very little is needed for this purpose, most of the food being used to produce new Gloiodi. The Gloiodi grow inside of a slimy cocoon attached to the Mother Gloiodis and when they emerge they are fully grown. The Mother Gloiodis cannot move but can feel pain. Redlines The Mother Gloiodis is a player event creature. The Mother Gloiodis cannot be tamed under any circumstance. The slime of the Mother Gloiodis can be harvested and used in combat or as a poison. After being removed from the creature the slime lasts for 3 OOC days when exposed to air, or 5 OOC days when contained, before drying out and losing all its poisonous traits. The slime has to be an RP item, signed by the person hosting the event. The cocoons containing the Gloiodi can be cut open, killing the Gloiodi inside. Purpose [OOC] I made these two creatures for an eventline I will be hosting for the Musin of Babblebrook. I wrote lore for an eventline before, and I thoroughly enjoyed doing so. I wanted to do it again, but write far more comprehensive lore for the creatures and make them more suitable for a longer eventline. (I hope I posted this in the right subtopic. I really really really couldn't find the right one, this was the closest I got xD) Citation spoiler https://forgottenrealms.fandom.com/wiki/Banderhobb (Inspiration for the Gloiodi and art for the Gloiodi.) https://monster.fandom.com/wiki/Slime (Art for the Mother Gloiodis.)
