      Same as how you change in real life, you meet people, develop new relationships, experience hardships, become wiser with age, set new life goals etc. If I compared the dwarf Pikel started out to what he is now he's the same dwarf but different in so many ways. Young Pikel's goal was to fight the Undead and pursue all the glory that came with it, as time went on he settled down and went into trading, opened up 8 very different establishments, tried his hand at druidism, chased magic, chased love, opened a bookshop, curated a library and wrote for a newspaper and pretended to be a halfling

    Here's the thing, guys. As a roleplayer, it's your duty to make RP fun not only for yourself, but for the person you're playing with. So sometimes you should stop and ask - "Is what I'm doing fun for everyone? Or just fun for me and making everyone else miserable?"

      Or realize it's a game with story that has conflicts and events that will grind against your comfort sphere. Learn to play along and you'll have a better time.

      Just be nice to other people, really. It tends not to be very fun for either party if one's just not into it. Much better for everyone to find people who enjoy your villainy or general RP and let others do the same for theirs.

      Well Alterazgohg I think the main point is, things can go against you, but if they're not done well it won't be as enjoyable. I know there are people who will complain anyways even if the RP is good, so screw those people.
