I agree, I've had my southeron character for quite a long time, and considering he is a blacksmith and has been one for 50 years of his life makes it unfair when he has a -20% blacksmithing. Its punishing me for my own rp, it makes no sense.

I would hope that the debuffs are taken away, there is no need for someone to get punished for playing a race.

I would love to agree to this, but we have to realize that a large group of people have alt accounts (minecraft and forum). I'm sure if it was really necessary the player base would make mention of a GM who is not up to par with their work.

People should listen to what Teerz is saying here because in all honesty, a friendlier community is a happy community. If everyone can do a small part in making the community happy, it is well worth it in the end.

I would say I have a solid grasp on the lore, and I understand that the lore changes and I will have to keep up to date on it. I have an understanding of the Application team's standards for applications as well. Why you want to be an AT member? It has been a while since I have been on a staff team, and I feel it is my time to get back into the game and sub for a missing player (sports reference, YAY!). I remember back when I was submitting applications to what I thought to be the only minecraft rp server at the time, I can remember the feeling of getting accepted to a huge and friendly community. I want to give that feeling to someone else, a new player in a big community. I want to take the first step into making my positive mark on the LOTC community.

As one of the builders of the map, I would like to give my opinion: I think the original plan for the map was great, we just missed a few things that were not accounted for or never really got built (but were in the original plan). One of the big things I realized we missed were the dungeons, or to make exploration rewarding. Another big part would be the poorly planned cities, each city was given to much space. It was like each nation thought they were going to have to house every player, making a hundred houses for only 25-50 people that wanted to live there. The last part is regioning and how the map was made. The map was made to much to be a good looking map and left no room to build settlements, and where it did leave room, the area was used for something other than settlements and caused OOC fights for ownership. hope that cleared a few things up for some people. Also, the reason no one uses the main roads, might have to do with soul stones and how every little place has SS Pillars
