  1. Whispers among the Auldmirian clanfolk grew, speaking of a return of the old lineage of Horen. Long, long ago, they did serve as vassals to the Horens, and long ago they saw glory brought to a broken nation. The current clan patriarch, Andreas, ruminated the possibility of such a thing. Too long had it been since he last heard the dragon-blooded line’s name uttered, and while a flutter of hope for the old ways did stir within him as he worked in his grand forge, hope didn’t hammer steel into shape. Hope didn’t get things done. Only steel did.
  2. The Vethrai patriarch received his letter from a noble courier. Upon opening it, his features curled into one of happiness for his two friends having found love with eachother. Afterwards, he would inform his family of such a lovely engagement, and had the children of the Vethrai prepare their finest for this momentous occasion!
  3. Why is the CT teaching players how to CRP? Isn’t that more of an ET thing?
  4. A finely penned parchment would be posted in various taverns, notice-boards, and anywhere a band of comrades could see it. In formal font, the transcript read as followed. To all whom organize under the banner not of a nation, but of brotherhoods, common interests, or academic pursuits, the Pale of Aldemar extends a generous offer to you. We offer affordable, yet quality residences for the meeting hall of any guild, free company, order, or academic institution that does not violate Imperial or Pale laws of decency and ethics. Groups that might be eligible are. but not limited to, mercenary bands with members of honorable standing within the Empire, brotherhoods of adventurers, academic orders of educators, students and researchers of history, magic, or other esoteric fields, artists and performers, and artisans of all disciplines. Keep note that Imperial law and Pale residential laws do come into effect, and thus non-elves may own these halls, but will not be allowed residency or citizenry within its walls. The price of a guild hall is to be determined, as are the taxes levied upon such an estate. We, of Tor Eldar, welcome all of our new organizations that would populate our guild halls. Please direct inquiries to the Warden, or one of his Council of Lords, for more information. Signed, Keledan Laraethryn, Warden of the Pale of Aldemar and Maruthir of Tor Eldar Penned by, Lord Kleo Vethrai of Tor Eldar
  5. A bittersweet day for the patriarch of the Vethrai family had dawned as he heard the hiss of roiling acid melting skin. A long-held enmity has been quelled, yet at what cost? A truly pure soul had been lost in what seemed to be a desperate grab for power. A glimmer of hope to prolong the careers of evil men was all the motivation needed to take the Maheral from this world. But, as many would assume, it takes more than one to plan a crime so heinous, so despicable. Kleo would keep watch within his own corner of Arcas, to ensure those attempting to flee their trial would find no succor, no repose within his sights. For those whom would stoop to such deplorable measures were a danger not only to malikind, but all life within the lands of Arcas and beyond.
  6. Holy ****, Skippy’s back?

  7. I look forward to seeing you all in THE elven settlement!
  8. Glad to see THE elven nation got a spotlight. Excellent camerawork!
  9. This sounds like more of a thing the ST/ET should handle through simply making events. “Teaching” someone to CRP should be relegated to a guide on the forum at most, and through trial and error in events/random happenings within a city.
  10. “Inaction truly is the sport of now for el’cihi’ata.” Kleo says in great amusement, sipping from a cup of fine tea in his abode as he read over the letter. “If I recall correctly, the Sillumiran haven’t always had such a high turnover rate. I do wonder what has changed that.” He concluded, before discarding the piece of parchment, simply giving the thought a mirthful chuckle before returning to his studies.
  11. This happened after the update. I connect, and a few moments later, I am disconnected with this message. I am unable to stay connected for more than a few seconds, but sometimes I’m able to play as normal. I have tried fresh installing, using vanilla minecraft and it doesn’t work. I have tried everything, and this won’t fix itself. I tried using the troubleshooter to find more information, and got this. A person in networking said “based on that small error it seems like the server is closing off your attempted connections.” I’d like to know if this can be fixed or not, as I literally cannot play with this happening.
  12. Lore question. Is Carbarum obtainable, and for how long has it been obtainable if so?

Secondly, what are common metals in the universe? Are metals like aluminum and others around?

      hello

metals that are “common” would be metals widely used and available in a “””””””””medieval”””””””” setting, if you are unsure just double check with an sreq.

Some metals, such as aluminum, we don’t have the tools or capability to harvest and refine it properly into what you recognize today.

i’d check the metals/minerals/ores section soon when the pieces go through with the lore, you’ll find a lot of pieces easily usable.

Toward the end of the materials rewrite project there will be a mothership post with all info you need to get started or to make things.

  13. Upon hearing the declaration he had signed had been sent forth, Kleo returned to his home. In his drawers, he searched for a blade, a short sword in its leather scabbard. In all the weeks of unrest within the Silver City, he felt safe for his lack of action against it all. He never felt the need to even carry this old, but well-maintained blade. However, he was done with it. His signature was his courage he mustered against the forces he attempted to ignore, and the sword he soon strapped to his belt would be the symbol of his willingness to make what he did more than just words. No, if those dark forces came to him, he would not kowtow to them. He’d stand up for himself, and his family. And as the scabbard was fastened to his belt, he pondered what was to come from this sordid business. But one thing was for sure: this scrawny scholar would not be going quietly while his city was taken over by the filth that threatened it again and again.
  14. This was embarrassing, even for a mineman RP server

I wouldn’t put blame on the high elves, from what I have seen i’ve found no encounter of ERP in the community I choose to play in. If you do want to take a look yourself and join in on the roleplay you can!
