  1. A certain acquaintance of Ruben was pleased by his title, or rather she would be, were she able to read. Alas, the lone Maudlin Baruch continued on, unaware of the goings on as she perused the country side, once again lost to the unknown paths.

Taillte Baruch had endured a life cloaked in unending darkness and paralyzing fear, incarcerated within the confines of her wretched basement lair for untold years. In her subterranean sanctum, the air hung heavy with an ever-present dampness, an insidious coldness, and an unyielding shroud of obscurity. She seldom dared to step beyond her self-inflicted prison, haunted relentlessly by nightmarish visions of demonic entities. But on this fateful day, a profound transformation surged within her, igniting a steely resolve to confront the terrors that had forever lurked in the shadows.

As she summoned her newfound strength, Taillte, with a tremor in her voice, addressed the spectral inhabitants of her gloomy abode—none of whom had drawn breath in a long while. These ethereal remnants of her past and harbingers of her future were her sole companions in this self-imposed exile. Her voice quivered as she conveyed her dire mission to them. The moment had arrived; it was time to emerge.

The city outside teemed with life, a whirlwind of people engaged in their mundane routines, blissfully ignorant of the ominous harbinger that Taillte was frantically trying to impart. She approached anyone who would lend an ear, her voice quaking with desperation.

"The beasts draw near!" she implored, eyes wide with terror. "The time quickly approaches!"

Her words, however, fell upon deaf ears. Most dismissed her as a madwoman, their hurried steps carrying them away from her as if she were a specter herself. A handful paused, their expressions a curious blend of pity and irritation, but none took her gravely.

Taillte's frustration welled up as she reached the city gates. She had given her all to warn the denizens, yet it seemed her valiant efforts were futile. Gazing beyond the gates, she discerned the encroaching malevolence she had foreseen, creeping ever closer, time slipping through her trembling fingers.

Defeat and isolation weighed heavily on her heart, but she could not yield now. After years of seclusion and the relentless horrors that had tormented her, her resolve renewed. She decided to seek out kindred spirits who might comprehend her visions and the impending peril. She vowed not to rest until she found someone who would listen, someone who could assist in preparing for the impending darkness.

Taillte's eyes locked onto a solitary traveler approaching the city gates, a deep sense of foreboding welling up within her as if the very darkness she had dreaded were made manifest in this lone figure. She rushed to the gates, frantically beseeching the guards and any who would lend an ear.

"So it is, so it must be!" she cried out, her voice trembling with urgency, tears streaking down her pallid cheeks. She pleaded with them to understand that admitting this traveler would unleash calamity upon the city. But her words remained unheeded, skepticism etched upon the guards' faces.

Unperturbed by Taillte's warnings, the oblivious traveler drew ever closer to the city's heart. Panic surged through her veins as she watched him advance. Time was an inexorable adversary, and if she couldn't convince someone to heed her, disaster would soon befall them all.

As her desperate pleas fell on deaf ears and as she was physically restrained, despair clung to her like a shroud. The traveler continued his relentless march, the city blissfully ignorant of the impending doom she had prophesied. She fought against her restraints, but her efforts proved futile. The gates stood open, and the traveler entered, unchallenged.

With a heart heavy as a stone and a sinking sensation of dread that seemed to plunge into an abyss, Taillte realized that her warnings had fallen on deaf ears. Suspended above the city, she watched helplessly from her vantage point. The grim truth struck her like a lightning bolt—the monstrous horrors she had foreseen had already descended upon them.

Overhead, sinister clouds gathered ominously, casting the city below into a bone-chilling silence. Streets that once bustled with life now lay barren and eerie. Taillte's dire visions had materialized into a grim reality, an inescapable nightmare. The conclusion she had long feared had arrived, and the city would soon confront the horrors she had glimpsed in the darkest recesses of her tortured psyche.

  3. “It goes on”

His voice seemed to echo for ages, Amadea stood motionless upon the balcony after Karl drew his last breath, his final words replaying in her head. There is no telling how long the aged woman stood upon the ledge, whether minutes or hours had passed, she was unsure.

What had started as a beautiful day had turned quicker than one could take a breath. As if God had decided to play a joke upon the woman, as the King fell, it so seemed that the sun followed suit, the clouds closing in upon the sunny sky as snow rapidly began to fall. The cold, that could not be ignored. The cold, the cold would sink in, but the passing - his passing, would not.

    VA BIRODEO HERZENAV AG EDLERVIK,

As the smallfolk which once occupied our lands have fled, nature has taken to reclaiming the area once littered by their timid feet. What was once an area with nary a tree in sight finds itself covered by flora and fauna alike of many degrees. Too long have the hunters of our nation grown stagnant, lacking accessible grounds near the capital to hone their skill. Thanks to the efforts of the Druids of Nevaehlen, our Kingdom finds itself blessed by now lush hills covered with landscape begging to be utilised. It is in turn the Crown’s wish that a Koenasweld shall be established.

In a proper reclamation of the lands, the dense woods near our Nation’s Capital shall be labelled the official hunting grounds of Karosgrad, the fort sat upon the lands reclaimed to host the Master of the Hunt, along  with the various enterages brought out to manoeuvre the familiar, yet unfamiliar lands. It is my hope that with these grounds we may see a return to proper Haeseni pastimes, leaving behind the bits and bobs seemingly influenced by other empires of past.

    VA BIRODEO HERZENAV AG EDLERVIK

Following the dissolution of what was the Queen’s Council, the event collaborator, an admittedly important role has all but disappeared from the sphere of the Haeseni Court. It is the wish of the Queen, alongside her Grand Lady, that such a position shall be replaced with a council headed by those who sit among our peered families. As such, the Morrivi Advisory Council shall be formed.

The Advisory Council, overseen by the Grand Lady, shall be composed of individuals within the Haeseni Noble families, responsible for ensuring frequent activity and entertainment, and spreading the culture of our great nation within the Kingdom. Each peered family within the Dual-Monarchy shall be required to elect exactly one family member to sit the council, the Lord or Lady serving as their representative within the Morrivi Court. Should this elected man or woman prove dissatisfactory to the Grand Lady, or lapse in their efficiency among the council, another will be made to take their place.

It is then the wish of the Crown that the peerage begin submitting their elected representatives via letter or meeting to the Grand Lady, Her Serene Highness, the Princess Royal.

    VA BIRODEO HERZENAV AG EDLERVIK,

As time passes through our reign, the need or rather lack thereof to maintain separate courts between the King and Queen has become apparent. We have been blessed under the leadership of Grand Lords and Ladies alike who have instilled and enforced traditions within our Kingdom, whilst the King’s council remained mostly unseen.

The Courts held under our Consorts of  past have too long been painted as a place for only the women of the Dual Monarchy, undervaluing the worth of the Haeseni man within our reddened halls. The court ought to be an institution to represent the people and nobility, not simply the fabrics that drape or the teas frequently sipped. The superficial nature of the current establishments are unjust, and unsatisfactory.

It is with this in mind, that both the long standing Queen’s Council, along with her counterpart the King’s Council shall be dissolved in their entirety, replaced by a new entity, more deserving of its royal station.

            IV JOVEO MANN,

HER ROYAL MAJESTY, AMADEA OF SUSA, Queen of Hanseti and Ruska, Princess of Bihar, Dules, Lahy, Muldav, Solvesborg, Slesvik and Ulgaard, Duchess of Carnatia and Vanaheim, Margravine of Korstadt, Rothswald and Vasiland, Countess of Alban, Alimar, Baranya, Graiswald, Karikhov, Karovia, Kaunas, Kavat, Kovachgrad, Kvasz, Markev, Nenzing, Torun, and Toruv, Viscountess of Varna, Baroness of Esenstadt, Kraken’s Watch, Kralta, Krepost, Lorentz, Rytsburg, Thurant, Venzia and Astfield, Lady of the Westfolk, Protector of the Highlanders, etcetera.

  8. Amadea stood motionless for some time as the room silenced around Emma. The home, which had been overly lively and full of love not an hour prior, now feeling like an echo chamber. Every drip of water, every creak of the floors, the minuscule noises amplified more than they had ever been. The only break of the silence offered by the sobs of the late Queen's daughter echoing through the hall.

Some time passed, the room thinning until only Amadea and her husband remained.

    "We love you."

She offered in finality to Emma, holding onto her cold body some time, offering her only a sliver of the warmth the Queen Mother provided through her years.

    --

Anastasya offered Emma the largest piece of walnut-covered carrot cake possibly imaginable as the Queen Mother was greeted by those who outran her on the race to the seven-skies.

"I have been saving this, just for vy my dear sestra. Even cooked it myself"

    Monthly Player Appreciation

    August 2022: Delta

Hello Haense, Shaydelicious coming at you once again. This month’s player appreciation is running a little late, but it’s better late than never. As per usual, this month was quite easy to select a player for (as all months are when we have such a pleasant community filled with wonderful players). Now that we’ve taken a step back from the conflicts that were constantly washing over us, it’s time to take a sharper look at our community, and better appreciate who and what makes it tick. Delta is very clearly one of the members of this sphere. I don’t personally know Delta very well myself, but it’s quite obvious that they have a large effect on the people they interact with. The amount of effort they put into everything they do -- whether it be Kortrevich, Colborn, or just Haense in general is a testament to the kind of person they are. Regardless of what is going on in their IRL life, they’re always willing to put energy into our little community, and it definitely has not gone unnoticed. I can’t wait to see what else you do in Haense Delta, you’re a joy to have around.

Hello, this is Sarah von Barah here. I brought you to Haense, Delta - yes, I am crediting myself with that, and I think it’s genuinely one of the best decisions I’ve made. You are such a fun soul to be around and the amount of work you put into whatever you do for Haense is insane. I am honoured to call you my friend and my Haeseni compatriot :”J Thank you for being my friend and a loving member of the community. We love you so so much !!! - Sarah (p.s. I miss Isabel Mondblume)

Delta has put forth great amounts of effort leading Kortrevich and carrying the name when it was on the cusp of death. From working within Haense as restarting the newspaper to helping run Kortrevich. Delta has always been very pleasant and kind to community members, though I have yet to properly chat to them. I really hope to in the future with what people say about them. - GMRO

Omg bro, I love Delta so so much. They are just - wonderful to be around, a really warm presence in the community. They’re super super funny, they work so very hard. They have such good ideas, they’re always willing to have a laugh or do absolutely awesome rp. I honestly don’t know what I’d do without Delta, they have so much compassion, they’re so hardworking, and all of their characters are layered, and entertaining, and kind. Delta is always willing to help. Even when stuff irl is crazy for them, or they’re tired, they always get stuff done. Despite how much I bug them about writing for the Bull Post, and finishing it up for posting, it always gets done by the perfect time. I’ll always remember the days of Maya and Adrianna, those were my favourite times. And popping into VC and immediately becoming someone’s bestie - that was an odd experience, but I loved it. Love you, Delta, you’re the best!!! Never change, bestie <3 - CopOwl

Where to even begin Delta, perhaps we shall start at the very beginning. We met under an odd circumstance where Limo and I were in a VC talking. I had just announced my interest to take an extended break, which Limo and many others were trying to convince me not to take. Limo being Limo, of course, asked you for your name and one thing led to another and before long he came up with the nickname rhombus. I admonished him some for trying to give you various nicknames based on shapes, such as triangle and square etc. It is a little bit of a haze even to me but I remember coming out of the conversation with a good impression of you.

In the coming weeks we hung out more and more, you would join VC when I was around, I would go on some monologue about Haense history and you’d listen. It usually ended with you saying how you liked to listen to the stories and just wasn’t very talkative (as if, I s2g you’re super social - past Delta was a big liar). Anyway, Limo, you and I made up a dynamic trio for a while and when Seuss returned, well our trio became whatever the **** it is today. If Seuss would call it something it’d probably have to be censored. When I decided to get some new blood into Colborn you were one of the first to accept. Well, I should have watched out for little did I know all the people I recruited would slowly get me back on LoTC. Though I must admit I enjoyed every moment of our strong team and community working together, we shared a lot of laughs, we surely did. May that be from Dead By Daylight, other games, watching movies or us just being us, we’re a really quirky group, to say the least.

But the one thing that remained consistent through it all was your hard work, devotion and overall friendly attitude. I have always admired those like you Delta that do what you do. I couldn’t be more thankful to see another member of the community do so well, work so hard and have so much passion. I have never once encountered a person who thought otherwise of you, and I think it would be difficult to find one if I tried. That alone speaks volumes of who you are. Just for the LOVE OF ALL, THAT IS HOLY TAKE A ******* BREAK, breathe for a moment, I s2g you’re a workaholic. Not that I am any better but if it takes one to see one, anyway.

I suppose I will finish this with the sweet thoughts of how much I appreciate and love you as a friend. You do great things for all of us but on a personal level, you’ve always been here for me. I can’t even count the times' Limo and I have slept in VC while the three of us watched a movie, or Sarah sometimes too. You’re a bright light and extremely sympathetic to those you care for, there’s rarely a better friend to have, and you certainly make the cut for the best of the month. I spoke to Seuss earlier and even the renowned man who has few compliments, said and I quote “Keep it up, Bingus”

I couldn’t put it better myself.

    -Julius55

So, Thank you @dove, we appreciate you, and this month is for you.

    VACANCIES WITHIN MY COUNCIL

I once again find myself seeking replacements for those who once sat the chairs of my inner council. As their faces fade, new faces must arise to replace them. As the Grand Lord found himself settling into his new role, it appears that his cousin decided that two Rutherns upon one council is too many. Similarly, as if in a cloud of smoke, our Curator of the Crown Jewels has all but disappeared. With this, I ask the worthy courtiers to make themselves known to the Grand Lord or myself, so that interviews may proceed, followed by the swift filling of my Court Custodian and Curator positions. Stagnancy is the enemy of us all, and must be avoided at all costs.

For those unfamiliar with the hierarchy of such positions, but interested in the Royal Courts, do observe our posting on the Queen’s Council.

    THE CHANGING OF THE SEASONS

As the courting season, Lifstala, quickly approaches, the Inner Council and myself find ourselves requiring a focus group for the planning and running of our season of love. In a similar fashion to my Inner Council vacancies, those wishing to join the group are asked to make themselves known to myself or my Grand Lord posthaste.

    UKEN VE KRAWN I ROZZ

    Issued by

HER ROYAL MAJESTY, AMADEA OF SUSA

On the 6th day of Msitza ag Dargund of 437 E.S.

    GRAND MAER,

Your letter does indeed trouble the courts, though for reasons I believe were not your intent. I may have refuted your criticisms with a simple statement, that being; It is by grace of the Crown that any man or woman sits upon our Councils. No other reserves the right to speak otherwise, for it is by the will of GOD alone that King Karl III does rule, and by extension, it is the will of the same that I sit alongside him. I would not make a habit of questioning the Crown’s Authority, Grand Maer, though on this occasion I shall indulge you.

It does seem that the appointment of His Grace, the Duke Vidaus, to the post of Grand Lord is the source of your displeasure. In the absence of his twin, Her Royal Highness Dorothea Isabel, the position was left effectively vacant for nearly a Saint’s Month. Should any of those courtiers of the Morrivi wished to prove themselves more capable than the Duke, they should have expressed even the slightest interest to myself, either through word or action. Truly, I would have been overjoyed had this been the case, for contrary to your letter the Duke and I are not friendly in any sense of the word. It has been the case of the opposite for decades.

It was the case that the entirety of my Inner Council sat dormant. Each of these positions were open and available to the courtiers of the Morrivi, yet few put themselves forward to assume them. Thus, I saw fit to appoint enthusiastic outsiders to them, for it was clear the structure of the courts requires fresh perspectives and radical change. Whilst you did not think to mention the other new appointees, these being the Baroness-Consort of Ghaestenwald, Maeve Morovar, and Lady Zoya vas Ruthern, a former Grand Maer herself, I shall explain to you, and to the Haeseni people their merits so that I might put to rest these concerns you have presented to them.

To begin, let us discuss the Baroness. Lady Maeve is perhaps not the most experienced of the courtiers, though in her short time in the courts she has planned and hosted a number of events in the capital. As a Baroness, she is, of course, entitled to privilege beyond lords and ladies below her standing. Title had little to do with her appointment to the courts, though, for as I mentioned prior Lady Maeve has proven herself more than capable in her own right.

Lady Zoya, your predecessor, is an enthusiastic and driven woman, proven by her tenure as Grand Maer, a position which is specifically intended to work alongside the Lady Chamberlain. She ran numerous events, all of which were creative in nature and successful in their execution. This is not to mention the esteemed blood which does course through her, born of the Ducal line of Ruthern. There is little reason to oppose her appointment as Palace Custodian, for she has demonstrated her competence in every regard.

As for the Grand Lord himself, I do think it necessary to touch upon what is expected of His Grace, as many seem to disregard the position as merely that of a hostess. The Grand Lord is primarily an administrator, overseeing the operations of the court in its entirety. The Duke Vidaus has proven himself competent in such positions, for, as you say, he has long been a leader of men in the Brotherhood of His Majesty. He is, of course, expected to ensure the Queen’s Council is consistently producing cultural material and hosting events for the Haeseni public, in both of which the Duke has much experience. He has been vital in the numerous writings of the courts, providing much work uncredited for the betterment of the Kingdom. The Duke has oft been called upon to both offer insight into and personally assist in the hosting of events by the Council, to great success. On matters of etiquette, the Duke Vidaus stands among the most refined of his peers, though one truly hates to admit such on account of his most disagreeable nature.

To serve as the primary advisor to the Queen is arguably the most important role the Grand Lord must fill. Despite our personal disagreements and otherwise foul relationship, he and I are able to work well together. His appointment to the role was one made not of nepotism, but of sheer competence. He has swiftly proven himself to be enthusiastic in the role, and has immediately set to work. I have seen it fit to appoint the Duke Vidaus as such and that is, truly, the end of the matter.

    Thus, regarding the state of my council;

I shall choose my own advisors, for it is my right as Queen to do so.

    IV JOVEO MANN,

HER ROYAL MAJESTY, Amadea of Susa, Queen Consort of Hanseti and Ruska, Princess Consort of Bihar, Dules, Lahy, Muldav, Solvesborg, Slesvik and Ulgaard, Duchess Consort of Carnatia and Vanaheim, Margravine-consort of Korstadt, Rothswald and Vasiland, Countess Consort of Alban, Alimar, Baranya, Graiswald, Karikhov, Karovia, Kaunas, Kavat, Kovachgrad, Kvasz, Markev, Nenzing, Torun, and Toruv, Viscountess Consort of Varna, Baroness Consort of Esenstadt, Kraken’s Watch, Kralta, Krepost, Lorentz, Rytsburg, Thurant, Venzia and Astfield, Lady of the Westfolk, Protector of the Highlanders, etcetera.

    Va ve Edlervik,

As the weight of the crown continues to befall myself and the King, these missives do find themselves becoming more frequent. Although these jottings are often presented in a more casual manner, one must also release official statements.

    Thus, regarding the state of my council;

Following Her Royal Highness, Dorothea Barbanov-Bihar’s self resignation from the role of Grand Lady, a quick replacement was made of her twin. From this day forth, His Grace, Mikhail var Ruthern shall be referred to as His Excellency, Grand Lord of the Morrivi Courts. May his actions serve well, and make up for the void created by his sister.

The additional vacancies left within the Inner Council of the Morrivi Courts will be filled by their Ladyships, Zoya vas Ruthern and Maeve Morovar. The pair serving the Kingdom as Palace Custodian and Court Chamberlain respectively.

I’ve faith in the newly appointed, and do hope that all shall join me in wishing them luck in their future endeavours within the Courts.

On this 14th of Wzuvar ag Byvca, 437 ES

    Va ve Edlervik,

As the Aulic Chambers of the Spring Palace finds itself overwhelmed by a sudden infestation of felines, the crown has deemed a dire need of fisherpeople at once. An oversight has been made, and the breeding capabilities of the housecat overlooked. These cats that have proclaimed the Morrivi to be their home, must be fed immediately. The ideal fisherperson will be dedicated to their craft, and quick to deliver. Routine shipments of the sea creatures must be made by the brave souls willing to take up the task. Most importantly, the fisher must enjoy the presence of cats, as they shall often be asked to feed the growing herd themselves.

Those interested in serving the Crown are asked to seek her Majesty, Amadea of Susa. Many fishers are required, and immediately so.

    Monthly Player Appreciation

    June/July 2022: Buffsanta & Louis

Hello Haense, it is your MC Shaydelicious speaking once again. It’s time for a (kind of late) but DOUBLE monthly player appreciation! This month (or these months, rather) were pretty easy to select players for. It is no secret to anybody in Haense (or any human nation, really), that this has been a very conflict-heavy time in our rp sphere. SO! Naturally, it made sense to put some solid recognition towards two guys who have led us both irply and oocly.

It’s been crazy watching the growth of the BSK, seeing the brotherhood turn into just that -- a brotherhood. Or sisterhood, perhaps themhood if you may. Regardless, the BSK is a huge part of Haeseni roleplay, and it has a huge impact on a good proportion of our playerbase. A strong leader is important, and that has been made clear by Buff lately.

With countless events, trainings, and the genuine forming of a flourishing subcommunity, I’m excited to see what else our Lord Marshal has in store.

Now, anybody who was present for any of our bigger fights during the (albeit, short-lived) war knows how important Louis was. Not only as a shot caller, but a general leader and a friend. I know I’m not alone when I say that Louis can actually make pvping fun, going out of his way to host training sessions for the less-pvp-inclined people in our community. There was a lot, a lot, of behind-the-scenes work done by our Grimbarian to get us to where we are, and a thank you is definitely in order. Now that your shot-caller boots have been taken off Louis, I can’t wait to see what you do with your creepy little Prince.

Louis was easily the biggest asset to me when doing our little behind-the-scenes work during the war. He was able to consistently lend a hand when I wasn’t always available for Palatine work and I super-duper appreciate his willingness to always help me. Louis is a fantastic leader, always has been and is someone I can always depend on. Now, for Buffsanta - this guy has the biggest work ethic I’ve seen in Haense in a long while. He’s been brainstorming countless ways to make the BSK better and has consistently rallied and answered the call for help during wartime. He’s simply fantastic and a wonderful asset to our silly little government. I appreciate you both, despite our bouts of bickering about what types of alcohol we are or what Disney character represents us best. You two are what makes Haense so great. Thank you :) - Sarah

Constantly being in VC with Louis throughout this war and seeing all the hair-pulling (lol) stress he put himself through to see Haense come out on top really made me appreciate all the work that goes into a war. Not only was he always working to get more people in our corner for the war effort, he was also grinding to keep our treasury stacked and just working in so many aspects of the government to keep Haense going while GMRO and Sarah were off on vacation. I can’t overstate how much respect and admiration I have for Louis, no matter how much we argue. Also, as a personal note, Louis has always been there for me and is an amazing friend who’s always willing to listen without judgement. As for Buff, I may not agree with an elf being our Marshal, but if I had to choose one to fulfill that role it would definitely be him. I saw him constantly working when I was in Oren without reward, and finally seeing him get the recognition he deserves in Haense is really heartwarming. Buff is a seriously cool, down-to-earth guy who helps make our community just that - a community. Whether it’s playing Bedwars and inviting everyone to play, or just hanging out in BSK VC, Buff is a really big part of what Haense is today.

Thanks so much for all that you two do!! - elizabeathan aka liz aga veganwalmart :)

Louis is genuinely one of the kindest people I know, and has quickly become one of my very close friends here on LOTC. When I was still new to the server, he was very welcoming and inclusive with me, and is probably one of the main people who kept me interested in and playing the server in the first place! He does so much hard work and he really isn’t appreciated enough for all he does for the nation, he works tirelessly behind the scenes and Haense probably wouldn’t be the same without him or his help in leadership. Buffsanta is a recent addition in Haense, but has very quickly become an important member of our community with his work as our Lord Marshal, and his dedication to the BSK! I don’t know him too personally, but he’s always been very kind whenever we’ve been in VC together and I know he works very hard to recruit and help people integrate into our nation's community. - peachy

I don’t even know where to begin with these two talented, hardworking individuals. Buff is always so friendly when we wind up in vcs together, and I only hear people praise his dedication to the BSK - both in terms of training and organisation, but also cementing a community of players within the group. He takes the time to welcome new additions and get them settled in himself, as well as hosting various tavern nights/game nights. I look forward to seeing what he goes on to do! Being Marshal is no easy feat, as both Louis and Buff can attest to, but both have taken the position in their stride and both worked to make the BSK even better than before. Louis I’ve known for far too long. I’ve seen his long term contributions as well as behind-the-scenes work for Haense: from Knight Paramount, to Lord Marshal, shot-calling and whipping everyone (including the i-ladies) into shape for war, lately he’s taken on Royal Treasurer and is working more than ever in government. His versatility, perseverance, and leadership are highly valued in our community, and he’s certainly been a friend I can depend on (when he doesn’t have me blocked). - livrose

Good lads, both of em - coolcod

Good I can only greatly appreciate the work that both of them have brought to their respective positions both before wartime, and after. I am sure we would have been in a lot of trouble in the war if not for both of their efforts from leading in the government to recruitment. Louis has done his best to make the treasury office an efficient machine that has managed to rake in amounts of money that can be difficult to compare to from within Haense, to abroad. Buffsanta has over his period within the BSk been aiming, and achieving, to create something not seen for a while in a true brotherhood that’s active as both a roleplay, and out of character community. Taking up the torch where others left off, his dedication towards making others feel included is something that all should strive to do. - GMRO

    And from the fellas themselves:

Buff has been prominent within Haense despite the little time he’s been here. While he might skip a bit on his reading, he has done a substantial job in binding the military to be more of a community, and providing them things to do, which is especially hard in these drier times of LOTC. He has made a conscious effort to go the extra mile too, and won’t accept just striving for mediocrity, by doing things such as offering to shotcall, and generally taking the reins on most matters; as any leader should. This helps with the burnout of some of Haense’s other leaders, and for this we can only appreciate him. -louis

Louis was one of the first people in Haense I was told I needed on my side. He’s one of the OG’s, a fantastic leader and has his head set straight. While a lot of people were all over the top with what I was doing, he just told me what I needed to hear and he told it to me straight. I think my first interaction was with a VC to talk about the BSK. I knew I was getting Marshal before I did, so I reached out to talk to him about his time in the BSK. Alongside that I needed to get to know the Haense government. That VC was extremely helpful to me. He was just down to earth. No ‘You’re gonna do great’ or that crap, but real points that I could actually use. He’s a great leader, and certainly someone whose opinion I value extremely highly. He gets the job done and he does it well. Sure we clash opinions at times, but I like to think our points are always well received on each end. You’re a good guy Louis, one of the best.

  15.

The days of the Haeseni Summer continued to pass, the heat the same as the days before, but still the Queen noticed a continual degradation of the blanket stock within the Spring Palace. The thief of the aforementioned quilts was no secret to those within the Palace, however the proper reasoning continued to remain unknown.

"Perhaps we should have him looked at"
