I don't think you can generalize any one group to be this or that. I know many Christians who are very quiet and loyal to their religion, but then I look at that man who always shouts at the front of my school from the bible. I have no experiences with atheists shoving anything down my throat, but the thing is: I already am one so there is no point really.

You're going to want that tuition paid for in the future, a moronic Brit lit class is worth it. Besides, it's lit, Wikipedia and BS your way through that ****. :P

In the end, it is your decision. I honestly believe that the debt that you'll have accumulated after college for dropping brit lit is worth staying on and powering through. You are much stronger than you give yourself credit for, so keep at it.
