    I think if you have a leadership persona on either side of an ongoing conflict i.e. rebellion or war and you choose to fight on an alternative persona to avoid consequence to your leadership character then mods should allow the victors to take your leader persona hostage, regardless of if they were at the conflict or not, as long as you yourself were.

      It's a good thing that Waldemar of Waldenia has been around for several months.

       

      In other news, I'm not sure how just logging off any time a fight happens is supposed to be better than switching to another character. The result is the exact same.

      @argonian People shouldn't log off pre-conflict if they're leadership either, tbf. Avoidance of consequence should be frowned upon more.
