  1. Vectis thinks they should have been called the Dragon Guard.
  2. Vectis wrinkles his nose as he hears of the upstarts. "These people are misguided. As if it is possible for a lone guild, no less one that has never been spoken of, to make the mighty nations of Anthos bend the knee to their own whims and desires. If the unification of the mortal races is their desire, then I do urge them to enlist in the ranks of Oren. Together, we will subjugate the heretical dwarven leaders that bid the Northern Scourge to fight among their ranks, and bring them under our true and rightful reign."
  3. Seeing humans, elves, and orcs all gather together in a massive battle-... just byoo'iful.

  6. The Duke of Northal, Vectis Vekon II, assembles his fighting Vectori, armoring them with new weapons and new plate armor for the coming war as his levy is summoned by His King's Majesty, Heinrik I Carrion.
  7. The Duke of Northal rises, applauding as he smiles on to his previous ward, smiling from ear to ear in pride at her wedding to the Kingd of Oren.

  9. The stereotype of the 'Oren troll' is one so overdone that it has the ability to instill such behaviors into unaffiliated, harmless human RPers and thus perpetuate the idea. You can thank a lot of the elves for this. Now, PVP default please?

the stereotype of whiny elves is influenced by these 'oren trolls' who mistreat and demean elven RPers OOCly to the point where they act hostile and 'whiny'. The lesson? END SERVER FACTIONALISM.

      Kickstarted and Running

Factionalism exists in life, the very idea of absolving factions would unite us in a true communism, which only works on paper. Moral of the story? Deal with it.

      WuHanXianShi14

Factionalism exists RPly, doesn't give an excuse for people in clique A to be dicks to clique B.

  10. Vectis nods in approval as he hangs up his Lord Marshal dress and cap, sighing as his dream of a reunited Oren finally comes to fruition.
  11. I laughed. Hard. +1 for you, masterful troll.
  12. I cannot type anything into /rp, /looc, /ooc, or any other chat input system. When I do, it says, Cannot send message This has been going on all day but the GMs don't know how to fix it. So, can something be done or should I just quit trying to roleplay?
  13. Why can't I connect to the server?

  14. Vectis reclines in the Lord's chair within the dining room of his keep. Filled to the brim, the long table is host to his family, servants, and loyal Vectori. Lofting the letter in his hand, a loud chuckle interrupts the silence. Moments pass before Vectis finally speaks, "bring him to me. I want to have a word with him."
  15. Got my ship stolen. No OOC permission was given. Sucks, man.

  17. Vectis was dining with his family when a courier delivered word to the doorman, who passed it on to a footman, who came and told the butler, Mister Brandon Forren. Brandon approached his master politely, leaning in and whispering the news into Vectis's ear. While most others were busy laughing, sharing stories, and supping, the act caught Lady Penelope's eyes. As the news finished relaying, the butler rose and returned to his ready posture at the right flank of the Lord's chair. Vectis continued staring forward, his brow furrowed in thought. It was a great promotion, in addition to a great responsibility. Looking to his right, the newly appointed Count took hold of his goblet and raised it, the gesture of the toast quieting the table. As the eyes fell upon him, Vectis began to speak. "Friends and family, this eve' I make a toast to His Royal Majesty. In recognition for my service to King and country, His Majesty has, in his unending grace, gifted our House with a new home in Herendul! The King has decreed I am to rule over the County of Skyed. For this gesture, let us drink to his continued success as King and to his health. Long live the King!" "Long live the King!" the people shouted merrily! It was not long before the feast continued, with renewed vigor.
  18. Vectis frowned. He had lost so many friends to death and catatonia-... Andrew, David, Starke, and now Crimson. "Crimson was a damn good soldier-..." he mutters upon learning of his untimely passing.
  19. The Fox's Den was not a particularly busy tavern in this day and age. In the past, it had served as a popular stop on the Emperor's road, especially when operated by the Carrions and later, the Valois. Now, it stood empty. The garden was overgrown and unkempt, the noticeboard's writing covered with moss. While a sweet reminder of early Anthos, the inn's time had ended. It's location had been discussed among the Decterum's upper echelons and it was deemed suitable for their plans. As the day turned to eve', two columns of Decterum archers marched out from the city of Abresi along the road. Knight Justicar Vectis lead the force through the growing darkness with aid of torch. The sun bade it's last farewell as the men arrived before the Fox's Den. Fitful rays were cast upon the ranks of armored men as they turned to face the structure, standing in silence. As Vectis raised his torch, it broadcast a subtle command, the archers all drawing arrows from their quivers. As they notched them onto their respective bowstrings, their cloth-clad arrow heads were brought into focus. The Knight Justicar then began his stride along the length of the ranks, lighting their arrows ablaze with his torch. When he had walked the full distance, he turned, barking, "Fire!" The bows thwanged! with release, preceding the whizz! of the flame and arrows shooting through the air. The men stood there and watched as the tavern slowly became consumed in fire, departing only when they were sure it would all burn to the ground. The ground was set.
  20. Vectis quickly responds, habitually writing in his flowing cursive, even while parked on the side of the road with nothing but his charcoal and scrap paper to use, hammering the note over it with the pommel of his blade after writing it out. It reads, "Well met, stranger. I have a horse or two I can spare that you may be interested in. I myself am interested in your potential offer of 'valuable items' and would like to discuss the matter with you in person. I will also give you the opportunity to browse the horses yourself in my stables if we are to come to an agreement. Looking forward to your reply. - Vectis"
