Elementalism
A new side note. After this was denied I reached out to @SquakHawk and @ScreamingDingo who initially set me for loops trying to figure out what was wrong.
Squak messaged me back first stating:
Squak stated I had zero redlines (?) which isn't true what so ever. Stated I had no clarifications even though everything from Tier 1 to Tier 5 for each spell was specified in it's own section or in the red lines. Squak then stated that "it's not so much the write itself anyways, but the concept is and has been really problematic and flawed for a few years now- despite the best efforts with a competent write and tons of ST assistance by reassigning TAs and giving out MAs, it still flopped on its face, maybe if orcs became more stable as a playerbase it could succeed, but even in last write when it spread past orcs it still failed hard"
Then Joel responded and stated:
I initially contacted Joel for feedback on the post, he stated I didn't format a thing and wouldn't communicate with me to help me improve the post. He wouldn't reference me to another staff member, he just ignored me and said figure it out yourself. After this initial rewrite got denied, I contacted Joel again. He only gave a single piece of criticism overall about the lore. From what I understood, he disapproved of the culture the magic was written for, not the magic itself.
I don't want to bring drama into lore but if you're going to ignore Elementalism and just instant deny it, do it because I'm a shitty writer not because you have zero faith on a mineman fantasy roleplay server. If this rewrite is terrible, give me feedback so I can improve it to meet your standards. All because you don't have hope on a mineman fantasy roleplay server doesn't mean others aren't going to give it their all.
Referencing @Telanir:
"It's really disappointing to see a nation which could possibly house a playerbase begin to fail because "the players failed so its' their fault". It's not the players failing, its' a culmination of mistakes and decisions that has caused the nation to split up and become unappealing. I think that it is wrong for staff to sit around expecting players to create their own roleplay and encourage events for their own nation. Players shouldn't be having to do all this work, they came to play Lord of the Craft, not play Politics 2.0 and file out paperwork and etc. There should be staff involvement to a medium degree, but not for nations that are already sprawling and in excellent condition, they should be allowed to continue the way they are. But this isn't a post against anything else, it is simply a post about the state the Orcs are in currently."
