I think then the fact that they remained unbanned despite the clear rules on FTBs, is a fault on the residing moderation/admin team of that time (not the current one) and it shows that sometimes the rules don't need to change, they just need to be properly enforced. Not enforcing current rules just leads to more rules being made and the cycle repeats. I'm glad you replied to my post because I was worried it was just going to be hidden and given an infraction for poking a staff member. Is anything going to be done about massive age gaps in character relationships? Even though both characters may have reached/surpass the adult age requirement, I know some of the playerbase expressed concerns when a character is in a romantic relationship with someone four times the youngest's age.

I am concerned that you are having an idea about 12 year old children copulating, especially when people in their sane minds aren't even thinking about this because anyone attempting such a thing would be banned and shamed within a heartbeat. It's stated clearly that no FTB will happen between characters that are under 18, so this thought 12 year olds you are having is a situation already against the rules.

and yet this post solves none of the issues of a 300 year old elf having kids with an 18 year old elf "but officer grudgebeard she said she was 18" tbh some people liked my idea about not letting 50 year old elves date elves older than 200 and so on.

I don't even know what to say about this, because it could have just been easier to have a reminder placed on persona cards rather than mess around with years of lore for other races.. I mean I know the elf thing needed to be addressed and that was going to be a sticky situation regardless, but holy shit-- was there a different way to do this other than everyone at 18? I mean obviously no one should have maturity below 18 but I don't know how to really word what I'm trying to say here other than everything feels a little weird-- However I do agree with the Olog change that should have happened long ago.

I thought you guys were 2x slow, like an 18 year old is 9 years old physically and mentally... so i just thought a 36 year old was just the halfling version of 18.

I had another idea I shared with Unwillingly, that I think it would be easy for tech team to implement: See this persona card? You see how at the top, it says ((Please remember not to meta-game this information))? Well, my persona is over 18... but if he had been under 18, maybe there should be a ((This human is under 18 and is not yet an adult)) underneath the metagaming sentence. This could be done for Halflings Under 36, Elves Under 50, and so on. ((This elf is under 50 and is not yet an adult)) ((This halfling is under 36 and is not yet an adult)) ((This [X] is under [Y] and is not yet an adult)) That way, there is always a constant reminder staring players right in the face when there is an underaged persona. The age warning would go away once the persona hit their respective Adult Age, and would return to looking like the normal persona card. The age warning would be reactivated if someone changed the age on the persona slot to be under 18/50/36.

no, i'm not making light, I agree that there needs to be changes, [I'm redacting this because it was worded badly and people took offense and missed the point] I'm using this to point back to just like how cultural pedophilia is going to be encouraged by the "oh it's medieval times, people got married earlier! women had kids much earlier!" and what have you. the new rule change is a step towards getting rid of pedophilia on the server, even though it still has a long way to go; no rule is going to be perfect, but the point is to be diligent in order to get the desired outcome i'm not making light, i was just being very brief. i think i have the right to voice this and use other issues to point back to it, considering it was cultural pedophilia that resulted in my grandparents being married and one of my parents being born.

I think we need to shelve khas and any other animal anthropomorphic CA server rules say no bestiality... khas and wonks are just a walking inevitable case of bestiality!

Honestly if you just wanna take care of this elf shit, just say with rules that elves can't have relationships until 50... or that elves can't have relationships if the older elf is more than 2 times their age... if it's not accepted by the server's playerbase then why isn't it upheld by the server? That way there can be 50 with a 100 but not 50 with a 150.. just a suggestion. honestly what other ideas do you have to stop this? i'm just throwing out a suggestion to get the brainstorming going with the other players
