    When will the server be updated to 1.9, my Minecraft auto-updates. I'm not able to play, cause the server's still on 1.8.8. . .

      Just go to edit profile in your minecraft launcher and where it says version towards the bottom set it to 1.8.9 or whatever you were using before.
