I am a bit confused by this creation, given majority of these things are done by ST builders anyways. If an effort to establish a better means of communication between these already existing teams is the goal, why make more titles and labels to display? Feels like it makes the process even more complicated -

I was one of two players who were doing this, and the character who was utilizing the candle has 0 knowledge of what it takes to make them. The recipe isn't common knowledge, given the candles are regarded as a rare tier requiring a character to be taught their recipe through roleplay to learn it. Zofiya, the character in question using the candle, isn't an alchemist and has devoted the majority of her life in fighting against what she perceives as dark magic; vehemently hating any influence of it and being disgusted by its existence and threat to mundane mortal living. I have a character, Ilaria Des'Nox, who knows this recipe and is utterly disgusted by it due to her views of sacredness in someone's death and their spirit. Any of these candles she finds, she instead hoards and refuses to burn them. I promise you my RP was not using it like some metal detector toy. There was a trial for people housing mystics, and my mystic-hating barrowborn wanted to use a tool provided to her to root them out. -

the players asked for less grinding, and staff ensured that there was more pains to grind instead
usual grinders with unlimited playtime wont be stopped in getting everything, but other players (majority) who dont dedicate their entire day to the effort are the ones suffering for it

Even last map it was hard to keep large stocks of gear, during wartime I would spend my entire night not sleeping just grinding resources so we could barely have enough gear to hand out, and I was only one of our grinders. If you have to gear like 50 people for multiple wcs this will be impossible.

this has to be one of the most frustrating map transitions i've experienced and its surprisingly not due to the wait time of the new map either

this existed with nexus, as someone else mentioned earlier in the comments - its what made food expiration less of a pain, because it was TIED to numerous other things in nexus to make it less of a pain. farming rp and chef rp also wasn't improved because of these features, it just led to more mechanical grinding for pvp incredibly disappointing that certain admins have endlessly pushed for this to be a thing, despite majority of players and other staff members being forwardly against it this is also whats kept us locked in temp map for over a month apparently, new map wont come until plugins are finished - which weren't worked on until the start of temp map. just makes it even worse and more of a bother also why does this put MORE dependency on leather? a product already grinded endlessly for due to pvp no hate on cheez, because this very clearly wasn't their decision to implement this

is the new map really being delayed because techs want to make all food expire after a set time, even though like 6 people asked for it
genuinely curious, idc for delays overall because they always happen - but are we all going to be surprised with a new series of pluggins and codes like we were with vortex in almaris?

the only people who actually make choices are trying to gaslight the server into food expiry actually being the reason nexus was good (they play exclusively in god mode and don't need to deal with hunger)

Anyone have Advanced Chat Filters? I had it set up on my old modpack for private messages to appear over my hotbar with a quiet sound effect, the same for friends logging on and off the server edit: nvm its fixed

So are we going to see halfling bandits everywhere now with smaller hit boxes for pvp? edit: a lof of these changes are neat though, im just wondering how some of these new mechanics might be affected by server rules
