  1. Cesar II de Pelear did not know what to think of these turn of events. King Georg was indeed a kind man. The Hyspian Prince knew of the struggles the man had faced in the latter years of his rule: the loss of his daughter, the war against Adria, the Mori Invasion and the responsibilities of beginning anew in Aevos. "It was an honor being your companion, señor Rey." He whispered. Cesar's thoughts then went to his dear aunt whom he knew was not taking this news well. "I hope tia Fia y mis primos are alright." He whispered a soft prayer for the former King of Haense and for his aunt and cousins who were now left alone. Upon hearing the news, a gentle sigh escaped Gaius's lips, he would deeply miss his dear friend King Georg, "You were a solid homie, Yam proud to call you mea friend." In the town of Andregrad, a certain Ivanovich who goes by the name István Mátyás Ivanovich, frowned as he heard the news. "Y enjoyed camping with him...dobry man, da."
  2. Cesar II de Pelear read the missive with a smile upon his lips. "Long naming traditions! Just like the de Pelear way." He nodded his head, eager to meet his new cousin.

  6. Laerron Aeramor’s emerald orbs scanned the horizon of the new land as he disembarked from the ship. After an audacious journey, Prince Maegor of the Aelterosi had guided them to a new life. One of new wonders and adventures. Laerron was thrilled. The Aelterosi’s boots landed upon the soft bed of sand at the coast. He can already feel the difference of this foreign land from his original home simply from the texture of the sand. “So many new things to see…so many new places to explore.” He murmured to himself in his native tongue. An excited smile formed upon his lips as he turned to face his brother, who was calling to Laerron for his assistance in setting up a tent. “I’m coming! I’m coming!” he muttered with a huff. However as he reached the camp and began to set down the wooden poles for the tent, a certain seagull caught his eye, overtaking his easily distracted mind. “BIRD!” Laerron immediately left the current task at hand to chase after the seagull.
  7. "Hmm...niet a bad idea. Perhaps Y should speak about this with His Majesty." The Ruthern went off to find the King of Balian, to speak about the possibility of raising a rally to assist the innocent descendants in the Wastelands.
  8. Every single detail written in this missive made Gaius var Ruthern's stomach churn. The Amiratus of Balian felt nothing but disgust for this so called 'Anvil Cult'. "Well...time for Operation Hammer and Anvil." He muttered as he would then turn around with missive in hand, looking to find the Constable Dante DeNurem @Maur, to share this information with him.
  9. Gaius couldn't help but smile as he read the written work published by his wife. Even in her state of blindness, the woman's talents always persevered. He had helped transliterate this for Mariya, yet all that was written here were Mariya's words. "Your talent knows niet bounds Mea Aster." He murmured as he turned to face his wife. He held one of the veils she has recently sewn herself in his hands as he studied it. "Such beauty in your work, it jest almost as beautiful as you."
  10. Do you wanna be my friend?
  11. What are your thoughts on?

  12. It did not take long for Gaius to find the letter by the beach side. As he read it, his expression remained neutral. The Ruthern's stoic demeanor remained unchanged. His gaze went towards the horizon where the ocean met the sun. After a few moments of silence whilst looking towards the far beyond, he would then retreat back to his quarters in the palace of Savoy. After closing the door behind him, the Ruthern paused, still silent whilst gripping the paper he held in his fist in such a constricting fashion, it began to wrinkle. Gaius dropped the paper upon the floor as he then rushed towards the chest containing his belongings which he had brought from Marsana. First, he retrieved the fish helmet, next was the colored sketch of Gaius, Reetus, Wyn and Florian when they were barely in their early teenage years. Lastly, the final item he took out from the chest was the scarf. Gaius set each down beside him upon the hardwood floor before picking up the two toned grey and red scarf. He clutched it with both of his hands, holding it ever so tightly as if it was a precious treasure one which he was afraid to let go. The man closed his eyes, for the feeling of vulnerability finally overtook him. Tears soon began to form upon the corners of his eyes as he whispered, "Yam niet angry, Reetus. You do niet have to apologize....Y understand where you are coming from." He inhaled sharply as a shaky sigh escaped his lips. He stabilized his breath whilst then murmuring, "You will always be forgiven by Y...because you are nothing less than Y borsa." He neatly folded the scarf, tucking it away into the chest again as he then picked up the sketch. His lips curled into a small smile whilst he looked upon each person within the painting: Florian, Gaius, Reetus and Wyn. "Four komyns, inseparable friends once upon a time." He wiped the forming tears from his eyes with the back of his right wrist as he then set the photo down. Gaius picked up the fish head now. This scaled helmet contained many memories, all of which brought so much nostalgia to Gaius. The adventures in Lurin, the pranks him and Reetus pulled in Haense and Un'Satum, all whilst wearing their fish heads. Oh, how the times have passed. They had given themselves their own nobility, their own little Kingdom with Sheo as the King of the Fish whilst Gaius was the Fish Lord of the South and Reetus was the Fish Lord of the North. The Ruthern placed the helmet upon his head for a moment, however it did not fit him anymore. A chuckle escaped his lips as he then brought it back to his lap. Perhaps it was time to give this to his son, Rhys. As he looked down at the fish helmet, the man would then murmur something to himself ever so softly. "For worse or for better. For now, till forever...Y will always remember us young."
  13. Gaius var Ruthern continued to run about the ruined palace of Savoy, counting the populace of Balian as he prepared for what is next. The job of administering a nation is never finished. Even if the capital is gone.
  14. 15. "Niet..." Gaius widened his eyes as he read the notice, his hands shaking as he held the paper. He took in each word like a knife to his heart whilst a lump of guilt formed upon his throat, "Niet..." He uttered again now in a rasped whisper, "Y should have kept a closer eye on her. The Duana are niet just colleagues...they are family." He remained silent as he closed his eyes, taking in a deep inhale as he then exhaled softly. "Yam sorry Persephone...We will find you." The Ruthern would then take the notice to the King and Queen's quarters to organize a search party for the missing princess.
  16. Cesar did not know much about the man's prior life. However, upon hearing the news of his death. The teenage Prince of Hyspia imparted a gentle sigh. He signed the lorraine as he would then murmur, "I only met you when I was younger. Lo siento. I'm sorry for the hardships you faced, señor. You once told me about your search for your lost sister. I am glad that you found her again before your passing." Oh, if only Cesar could see his late eldest sister one last time...

  18. A certain young Ivanovich lord reads the missive with a confused blink. He then shows the missive to his father, "Papej...Y niet heard of Oksana Marusya Ivanovich...ever...who jest?" (@Optimus420)
  19. Gaius signed the Lorraine as he read the missive, a gentle sigh parting his lips. “A Countess and once Procurator dedicated to the service of Balian and to her own family…Y hope more of our Peers strive to be like her.” He remained silent for a few moments, standing up from his chair whilst he then murmured, “Rest well cousin…May you find peace in the seven skies with your husband.” The Ruthern would then begin preparing a trip to Acquillae to speak to his ward who is now the new Countess of Acquilae.

  22. The little lord Istvan sat down upon the chair in the tavern, his gaze upon the empty table and then to the empty seat before him. "Y miss soup vy cook...Felden...", He muttered as he then brought his gaze down to the table again, glaring at it. Oh, how he missed the delicious smell of beef soup that Felden would cook for him at the tavern...
